Seeing as how this ring has the most spirit of any current ring, it is very nice for spirit-minded healers.

For a priest with Improved Divine Spirit, the 27 spirit adds an additional 9 healing. Also, if you're fortunate enough to be an enchanter, the +20 healing enchant brings this ring to +104 healing.

With the new Meditation talent as of 2.3, this item is simply flawless for priests and restoration druids. Big upgrade from https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28661, which you probably used before.
