This is the perfect fallback purchase for a healpriest who doesn't get the Coilfang hammer in Slave Pens. Unfortunately, it is hideous, worse even than the Giant Club (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=15226). I'm always tempted to heal using my solo/dps weapon from BF (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24384) because it just looks so damn sweet :)

On my server "Lesser Sledgemace of the Elder" can be had for around 12g.

+15 stam
+10 int
+4 mp5
bonus healing up to 94

For a transitional-leveling piece, the Cudgel doesn't seem worth it.

Miss-clicked and inadvertantly purchased on my Pally immediately upon reaching honored with CE.

DPS and Speed leave a bit to be desired. Seems like a 62 Rare you have to rep-grind for should outclass a 60 BoE Green (Was using Cold Iron Scepter of Intellect) in terms of melee stats.

On the other hand... its kinda cool lookin' and the gold should be easy enough to recoup. Being Holy, I'll hang on to it for healing in groups until I can finish Ring of Blood in Nagrand for Mogor's Annointing Club:
