It does not, and it is in fact very useful to use both at the same time to get a mini evasion like effect.

Was browsing looking for +defense items for my paladin and saw this. Became very excited until it was pointed out to me that these are BoP. Don't be a dummy like me and collect the materials for something you can't actually get.

I made this the instant I learned the recipe.

A couple weeks later, I'm now lucky enough to be the proud owner of Moroes' Lucky Pocketwatch.

With the two of them, my dodge hits 40% for about 15 seconds, then (since this lasts a bit longer) drops down to a (STILL decent) 26%, then back to 19%.

Awesome trinket, WELL worth every penny you'd spend on it.

Excellent excellent tanking trinket for those of us who are JC. I get questions about it all the time from both warriors and rogues alike. Unfortunately they're all very bummed when I have to mention it's BOP. Also good for laughs during raids when you mention that you've got a case of the crabs.

This will definitley replace my adamantite firgurine, 1280 armor isnt nearly as good as 6.6% to dodge every two minutes, the 32 defense of course rocks too.

he wasnt whining but i am and i am a JC! While yes we do get figurines that only we can use BS's get the much more usefull epic gear. BS of course is not a money making profession like JC but i would like to see something more rewarding than a couple of blue trinkets, something like what the alchemists got. Or perhaps be able to craft epic BoP gems. (i heard a rumor this could come up in a nearby patch along with orc shoulders fix)

hmm only 2 things i kno match this 4 a prot or mixed prot warrior an that is dabiri enigma an adamntine figurine combined 2 make u a decent tank if u cant get this

Does anyone know if there exists a (non-raid) instance drop or quest reward approximately equivalent to this trinket, so that I don't feel like I need to drop one of my existing (hard-earned) professions and level up Jewelcrafting just to be a well geared tank?

I think this is much better than the adamantite figurine. the minor decrease in damage taken is NIL in comparison to an increased chance totake NO damage froma melee attack. From a Prot Pali's perspective I think this is going to be my trinket of choice until The all-powerful pocketwatch. Defence on this mean ucan go for other stats on other gear and as stated above the ~6% chance to dodge is pretty significant.

To get the recipe to MAKE the Dawnstone Crab figurine, you need to be Revered with Honor Hold (if Alliance), or Revered with Thrallmar (if Horde).
