people definitely camp the vendor on my server, I've tried checking early in the morning and at 1-hour intervals and no power core. I eventually got annoyed and farmed up the primal, bought the ore and got a guildy to craft it. 1 hour and 10g.

I've been trying for days!

No one seems to bother professing in Engineering either, so getting on of these is damn near impossible!

If you wanna buy them you can do a couple of thins to increase your chance:

-buy one early in the morning, befor you go to school/work
-buy one right after the server is reseted

This is trainable from master engineer in thrallamr for those who dont know. It gets used in almost every high lvl recipe and is essential in most recipes, but its a #$%^& to make alright, 3 khorium bars is 6 ore, 6 ore is 2 maybe 3 khorium veins the rate of which im getting from them, that means itl take you about an hour and a heap of luck to get the khorium, primal fire you can get easy if your lucky and mine it from the veins too. But considering many recipes need several of these its hard to make and expensive to buy.

certainly a lot cheaper to buy... there is a guy in auchindon who sells motes of fire really cheap, always worth buying these things when u see them

Qiff sells the power core, but it's kind of rare for him to have it. I've only seen it on him once and I visit him at least 10 times per day that I play. It's possible to get this from him...but it can be a frustrating experience to camp him for it!

Definitely still sells them, just bought one. First time I've seen it though, and I check several times a day. This and the adamantite frame can save you cash . I check him every time a dimensional rip to Area 52...

i bought one from that dude in area 52. first time ive ever seen it spawn. 16/11/07 at 5:30 (server time). i asume its a rare spawn so dont get ya hopes up about buying it from the guy

I just bought one tonight, it was at 4:00 AM hardly anyone is on, the vendor was fully stocked, it had the power core for a little over 4 gold and some silver, and the adamantite frame, elemental powder, smoke bombs, etc. Major profit :)

Just a heads' up; The Gnome in HH (Lebowski) no longer carries this as a recipe. He trains it, along with a few others. Now it's available for everyone at all times.

Do my eyes decieve me? I look under Sold By and it says sold by Qiff, Availability:Unlimited. Is this really true or am I going insane wishing I had more Khorium Power Cores?
