Got this while getting a boost on an alt. Dropped from a Kraul bat IIRC. Good thing I didn't DE it like I do with most other drops there.

Actually, before spending major gold on this item, especially if you're a Survivalist Hunter, be sure to check out a pair of 29 "of the Monkey" shoulders. https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=15140
The best possible stats would be +7 Stam and +7 Agility, giving you actually a bonus 3 Stamina for the loss of 3 Agility points... plus the Cutthroat Mantle graphic is waaaay cooler IMO! :)

had a pair of cutthroat of agility on my main rogue when he was lvl 29.. people were like.. what a waste.. cuz i wasnt pvp geared.. i understood what they meant afterwards.. +13 agility on shoulders at L29 is great stats.. and i paid all of 1g for them on the ah =)

I want a pair of these for my Paladin twink... the Agility would be awesome.. too bad they are leather.. i would pass on the armor for that extra agility.. i'm surrently using a Sparkleshell Mantle https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=13131 i may just keep it because of the strength.. but i have enough strength... need to dodge. DODGE = not dying = Win

I'd rater have these as a 39 rogue or hunter, because as a rogue u gank and dont get hit much and as a hunter u just kite around and never get hit.

Edit: I grabed some off a lowbie for 25g :D so way worth it.

Okay, tbh, these are not the best, IMO.
Sure, you will get use of the stamina and agility, but if you only want to deal tons of damage.
https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=2278 are a better choice. Personally i use these (Forest Tracker...) for my own 29 Rogue twink. Don't misunderstand me. If you're going in abit more for survivability, choose Mantle of Theives.

Mantle of Thieves is definitely the best for a 29 hunter (unless you are a melee hunter). However, I've been searching for these on the AH for several months and have not found any yet.

Cutthroat's Mantle of the Falcon would also be a good choice.

Ive gotten this item 3 times now, and 2 times ive sold it for big money, so here u go!

1st time I got it off one of the earthshakers 1/4 of the way through the instance, right after Ramtusk. Second and third times it was off the mobs in front of the portal to the massive pig. Hope this helps :)

The Trickster's mantle looks just like em. they are req lvl high 20ish. Not as good of course but they look similar.

yeah this isnt any class armor... but the way i looked at it, i saw it benefitting a hunter the most because the spirit applies to mana too. This item belongs to the class that buys it or the class that gets the roll. end of story.......

I have these on my 29 hunter twink. I like them a lot and I will continue to use them until I find a better set for BG.

Ok I have been trying to find some good lvl 29 hunters in the armory, so far they have been all crap. I just want to compare and see how good my gear is against the pimp gear of another good twink, so if you have a lvl 29 hunter twink or know someone with a badass one please put its name and guild in here so I can compare.

Just wanted to let everyone know , Ive been farming mantle of thieves for about aweek now.
Ive ran the instances 156 times, probley more.
I used my lvl 70 priest and 70 warlock duel boxing.
Ive managed to probley get about every World Drop possable for this lvl instance, but have not found a single Rare zone wide drop yet that is (BoE), I was hopeing for the leather gloves that drop here also. but no luck on both.

I have a rogue i was trying to deck out, guess it not gonna happen, have wasted bout aweek of my time and i just now gave up, not gonna spend anymore time trying to farm these 2 items, And you should not wsaste your time ether, only way your gonna see these two nice items is from AH or on somebody else. or get very very very very lucky and happen to have them drop. but chance is it will never happen. Ive farmed Shadowfang and Assasins blade from Sfk and spent only 1day there to get them items , and ran the instance around 30times. if you do happen to find yourself with the mantle of thieve's and want to sell it. make Sure to put on auction house for more than 250+ it will sell. Ive been offered over 500 when i was telling people i was trying to farm it, no luck though.

I've been haphazardly looking for these for my twink 29 hunter Dahliah on Nazgrel horde side. No luck yet. I have Watchman Pauldrons now so am not overly anxious about finding them. A run through doesn't take long with a 63 rogue so just hitting rfk during bored moments. Still kinda torn between the agi and stam. Did someone mention shoulder chants? I've seen +100 health to head but can't find it on my server, not a shoulder chant either.

Bah! It dropped in RFK. I under sold for 40g, thinking it was a 20gish twink item. Wrong, this item is worth 100g+ on my server. Would have been a nice bit of coins jingling in my pocket, if I had sold for more. Oh well, atleast I made someone happy =D

ok... so, I've ran this instance twice today, first run i got staff of shade x2, plains ring, and these shoulders, my friend got the other staff. So now all i got to do is sell everything. I guess it was a lucky day eh?

Well, I was looking for this item wolfclaw gloves, and Vendetta in RFK for a week on my Mage... nothing
I gave up.
Today my gf asked me for an RFK run and I said sure, so right after we finished and she hearthed, randomly a Quill Champion dropped them! I was so excited, because my Rogue has needed them for ages! But of course now he's 32 and there are better ones... shame really. Well, selling them on Uldaman, PST me!
EDIT: Sold them. As luck would have it, a 63 druid said "WTB Mantle of Thieves 100G PST"
Needless to say I'm 100G richer... And to think I got bashed for saying "WTS Mantle of Thieves, very rare!"

I was running a friend through RFk for corpse maker and quests so i ran him once and I got these but he needed axe so it took me 2 more times and i got altogether 2 of these sukers and sold for 400g each HOLY CRAP
