Good stats for a hybrid class, clearly designed for druids, but not too bad for shamans aswell.
Goes nicely with the other hybrid item from scholo..

I would just like to ask anyone if they see the incredible similarity(look) between the Insightful Hood, Death's Clutch and Ghostloom Leggings. I wear all 3 and they go together so well. Here's the pics:

These are pretty nice for a druid.
Don't think I'd wear them over wildheart though since you get extra buff from wildheart.

I've been to Scholomance quite some times now but never saw them drop. I even asked guild mates, but they as well haven't seen these nice druid shoulders before, so I am now wondering if they are still in game or have been removed.

So - has anyone seen these drop lately?

Dropped for me tonight on about my 5th Scholo run. Starting to question whether or not I should got back to LBRS anymore for WH shoulders since i have my boots already. Plus even with only 7 pieces of the set you still get the healing bonus.

Went to Scholomance purely for this item and it actually dropped. Unfortunately there was a rogue with SC shoulder already that insisted this one was far superior and rolled on it too. He won the roll, but some party members found that so stupid they begged me to ninja it. So I took it.

When there's a druid in the party, no rogue should roll on it unless the druid may roll on SC too.

The item has (feral) druid written all over it. Period.

Got these last night on my first Scholo run. Good thing I was the only druid, as my need roll was a whopping 11.

I managed to get these today at scholo, was really lucky too, I didn't read the stats properly and passed the need roll, but won them in the free roll anyway. Great stats on em and a very nice upgrade above Swashbuckler. As for looks, doesn't blend in with the rest of my current setup, oh well.

Will be clinging to these until I get wildheart spaulders, even tho these have better stats than wh, I already have 4/8 of wh so the set bonuses will be sexellant.

i have had such the weirdest luck from scholo...its like blizzard is trying to convince me to go back to pvp spec as opposed to healbot...

i've done scholo about 5 times now. i have never ninja'd a piece of armor there at all and from those 5 runs i have this, SC hat, tombstone breastplate, and the phantasmil (sp?) cloak. i didnt even use my need roll on these when they dropped last run. (won on a greed roll go figure)

just for the sake of ranting tho not ONCE have i seen WH drop. got insanely lucky my first lbrs run and got my shoulers but still no other pieces even seen yet. /cry oh well...i'll be going again and again until i get my dead bird.

gl to all the druids out there. this is a good piece for feral or healing and mega cool looking with SC hat. (dont u guys roll on the SC hat tho if rogues are present) :)

I got these shoulders at my first run to scholomance,i was lvl55 druid and only leather user in raid :P also wildheart head dropped for me so i think i was kinda lucky xD

Instant poison can crit. Chance determined by int.
For an Assassination rogue (esp), going hard for poison n' procs, this is the business. The %age gained from this is feeble, but combined with the 20ap, melee crit, dodge, hp... and spirit (for health regen during vanish or between kills, grinding or otherwise), this is pretty bloody nice. Nice that it gives a way for a rogue to bypass armour mitigation.
Add to it blade flurry and slice and dice, and more opportunities for int (nature 'spell') crit exist than any druid build possible (per sec).

I like how 'feral eq' (;devils', stormsh' etc) suits more than one class's talent paths. It broadens the customisability for both leather classes.

Dont get all silly, of course there is better eq available... FOR BOTH CLASSES!

I point out something most rogues(/players) don't know about int. and I must delete?

Would I roll on this, between myself and a druid? No, because I wouldn't want to hurt their feelings by messing with their expectations. Sad but necessary.

Im assuming they changed the stats on these cause if not everyone on here is stupid LOL. Since they most likely changed the stats i would say that either rogues or druids would both find these quite usefull. I know int is pretty much useless for rogues but +10 all stats is very nice.

59 Rogue, had some mid 50 green item, slight upgrade even if they are a druid item, no one else could use in party so I got them. Also got SC boots in the same run so Im happy.

This item is clearly better than the wildheart spaulders for a feral druid. less int, but you get more stam, str, spir, and agil. Even with the set bonus for wildheart, I believe these are far better

Personally, i think these are even better than the feralheart spaulders. The only thing that even makes feralheart close is the extra healing and mana regen. The recent addition of innervate to all druids pretty much makes the latter a non-factor.

If i am the primary healer, i will wear my wildheart. For anything else, these are better. That is just my opinion though.

Need-rolled as the only leather-user in the group. Doesn't really fit in with my other gear (just as someone else mentioned). Level 60 rogue.

These dropped last night and the entire party passed, as is our rule regarding all BoP, and we discussed it. I was the only leather wearer and the shoulders were a serious upgrade from the lvl 55 green shoulders that I had been wearing so the rest of the group let me have them. I put them on, and we went back to grinding. The Shadowcraft Boots dropped in the same run and I got them too(6 of 8 pieces now). Death's Clutch isn't the best Rogue gear out there but it is still a great piece of leather armor and will serve me well until I can get the SC shoulders or something even better.

If anyone else had really needed these, I would have passed; if anyone else had just wanted these, we would have rolled for them. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm in such a great guild, but this system works for us.

An upgrade for Wildheart Spaulders and similar to the other shoulders around that level. Overall a solid piece to have for any spec of Druid.

Thinking about putting a set together like this. That way as the situation changes, I can be the stop gap druid in place.

That being said it kind of emphasizes that blizzard was unsure of what they wanted druids to do in vanilla. Let's not forget that although feral attack power was a thing in Vanilla (as a regular stat just like "ranged attack power") it was only on one handed items and the legendary staff. What is the offhand to that item? There is only one. So rocking a epic mace and a book from strat. Go blizzard!
