Doom Lord Kazzak Tips in Burning Crusade ClassicTips for Tanks on Doom Lord Kazzak

Save defensive cooldowns for 激怒, when Doom Lord Kazzak begins to deal increased damage with Shadowbolt Volley and casts it multiple times back to back. Typically, 战士 Tanks will save 盾墙 for the 激怒, which happens 54 seconds into the fight.

Tips for Melee on Doom Lord Kazzak

Absolute priority for Melee damage dealers to stand behind Doom Lord Kazzak, as his Cleave ability deals significant damage. Melee also take damage from 雷霆一击, so they will need to take care of their own health somewhat with Healing Potions, Healthstones, and so on.

Rogues can help their Healers by saving 暗影斗篷 for the Enrage, to Resist all incoming Shadow Bolt Volleys for the duration.

All damage dealers should use offensive cooldowns early in the fight, as the goal is to kill the boss before the 54 second Enrage goes off. Enhancement 萨满祭司 should use 嗜血 early, after threat is established with the main tank.

Tips for Ranged on Doom Lord Kazzak

Ranged mana users should watch for the 卡扎克的印记 debuff. If obtained, the mana user needs to run out of the fight far away, as it will drain their mana and eventually explode at the end of its duration. 法师s can use 寒冰屏障 to remove this debuff.

Ability

Description

虚空箭

Void Bolt deals shadow damage to the target with the highest threat, so the main tank in most situations. This isn't particularly that scary, but because it is magic damage it does ignore armor.

顺劈斩

Cleave is a melee attack that hits all targets in front of Doom Lord Kazzak. This is the reason all melee should stand behind the boss at all times during this encounter.

雷霆一击

Thunderclap deals Nature Area of effect damage and slows auto attack speed of all melee damage dealers. It can be dispelled and cleansed by healers.

扭曲反射

Twisted reflection is a debuff placed on random members in the raid that heals Doom Lord Kazzak whenever those players take damage. This can be dispelled and is a priority for healers. Priests should use Mass Dispel to dispel as many players as possible.

卡扎克的印记

Mark of Kazzak will target a random player in the raid and drain their mana, eventually exploding and dealing area damage around that player. If targeted by Mark of Kazzak, you should move away from the raid as far as possible, to prevent dealing damage to other raid members.

捕捉灵魂

Whenever a player dies near Doom Lord Kazzak, the boss will heal for 150,000. Do not let anyone die near the boss.

暗影箭雨

Shadowbolt Volley deals shadow damage to all targets within 60 yards, ignoring line of sight. This deals a lot of raid damage and requires some healers to focus on the entire raid, instead of just the main tank. If the boss becomes Enraged, Doom Lord Kazzak will cast six of these back to back.

激怒

After 54 seconds, Doom Lord Kazzak will Enrage, gaining bonus shadow damage and casting six Shadow Bolt Volleys back to back. This is an immense amount of raid damage and will likely wipe most raids, try and burn the boss down within 54 seconds of engagement.
