This ability honestly needs to be a standard shadow spell and NOT a Talent... Shadow Priests are seriously lacking in the AoE burst department. :/

This might not seem like the coolest spell, but when a Shadow priest adds the Whispering Shadows talent, they become a super-survivable AoE killing machine. You instantly apply Vampiric Touch to all of your targets, throw Devouring Plague and/or Vampiric Embrace on a couple of them if CDs allow, and most of the mobs die before you even get to target them.
