Zereth Mortis Rares Now Grant Enlightened Reputation in Patch 9.2 - World Quest Reputation Nerfed

reputation gains have changed, requiring players to farm Rares on Zereth Mortis in order to reach Revered quickly and unlock the item needed to craft your Covenant Double Legendary. For the sources of Enlightened Reputation, check our previous post:

Why is Enlightened Reputation Important?
The main reason you'll want to hit
Revered
is due to

, which allows you to craft your Covenant Legendary in all slots. Without this item, your only option for double legendaries will be the belt received during the 9.2 Campaign.
Remember that you only need to reach Revered to obtain the memory to craft the covenant legendary, as you will continue to receive the
Unity Belt
for your class by completing Chapter 7 of the 9.2 Campaign,

, starting at week 5 of Patch 9.2 and these Belts do not have any reputation requirement for them but are stuck at 265 Item Level.
Other important items that require less reputation are the

, the item to craft ilvl262 Unique-Equipped pieces. Both these items require Honored with the Enlightened to purchase them.

and also has a requirement of obtaining Keystone Hero, Elite or Mythic: Sepulcher for upgraded conduit item levels.
World Quests in Zereth Mortis Grant Less Reputation
World Quests in Zereth Mortis have received a significant reputation nerf - These quests now grant
100 Reputation
, down from 225 Reputation.
This means completing the 3 World Quests available in ZM will now grant you
300 Reputation
per day
Zereth Mortis Rares Now Give Reputation
A controversial change is that Zereth Mortis rares now grant reputation.
As per the

achievement, there are
29 Rares
in Zereth Mortis. It is currently unknown if there are any rares that don't spawn every day, like a couple of the Korthia rares.
A grand majority of these rares give
15 Reputation
when killed.
The four rares that spawn by the elite area of the Endless Sands -

,
Гарудеон
,
Генерал Заратура
and
Мать Фестис
grant
30 Reputation
when killed (thanks Korkax for the tip!).
Killing all 29 rares in one day with the above numbers will grant
495 Reputation
with the Enlightened.
How Much Reputation Can I Earn in a Day Now?
Considering the above numbers, and the other unchanged reputation standings, the reputation will take a significantly different amount of time depending on how much effort you put into killing rares in Zereth Mortis.
These numbers consider you have completed the bi-weekly quest

(which grants 250 Reputation) twice a week without missing any respawns.
Killing all 29 rares in a day (if this is possible), you will earn
795 Reputation
per day, and maintaining this number, it will take you
26 days
to reach Revered with the Enlightened.
If you kill, say, 20 rares that grant 15 reputation, you will earn
600 Reputation
per day, and maintaining this number, it will take you
31 days
to reach Revered with Enlightened.
If you choose to ignore all rares and just complete world quests, you will only earn
300 Reputation
per day, and maintaining this number, it will take a whopping
53 days
to reach Revered with the Enlightened.
These numbers are calculated
before
any random reputation you might receive from Daily Quests, or eventual reputation gains from the 9.2 Campaign. We have received reports that reputation numbers from the Campaign have been increased, and are currently investigating those claims.
