Level Professions Cheaply and Easily with the Darkmoon Faire in Cataclysm Classic

Professions can be incredibly profitable for players willing to invest in them - but they come with a catch. You can't start printing gold with gear and consumables until you level your Profession skill, and this can be an insanely time-consuming and expensive task. For those looking to save as much gold as possible in the journey to 525 Skill, the Darkmoon Faire can be a huge help - but only if you remember to do your quests!
Players can complete five Profession quests per month: two for Primary Professions, and three for Secondary Professions. With each quest giving +5 Skill to its associated Profession, this is a
significantly
cheaper way to make it through some of the toughest skill bottlenecks in the process. Darkmoon Faire Profession Quests in Cataclysm Classic
While there are also quests for First Aid, Fishing, and Archaeology, this article focuses on the typical goldmaking professions in Cataclysm Classic.
Alchemy
One of the professions that require outside materials for its quest, make sure you don't forget to bring five

can be bought in stacks of five for between - , depending on the vendor you choose. That's a huge savings for Alchemists trying to get their last few Skill Points - after all, when you're looking at a recipe like

Blacksmithing
Blacksmithing can historically be expensive to level, and Cataclysm Blacksmithing is no exception. Once you're around Skill 500, you'll need tons of Volatiles - and

can easily rip through your gold savings when you need 50 per craft. By completing the Blacksmithing quest, you'll be gaining 5 free skill points at that crucial last leg of the Skill grind - with no purchase necessary!
Enchanting
Enchanting is notorious for early difficulty to level without easy access to Epics - so when your last few Skill points tend to chew through

Engineering
High-level Engineering takes a large variety of different materials - from smelted bars, to Volatiles, to prospected jewels, and everything in between. The Darkmoon Faire quest for Engineering is a quick and easy way to bypass some of the cost - just run around and repair run-down tonks!
Herbalism
While not traditionally considered an expensive Profession to level, free Skill points are free Skill points when it comes to Herbalism! You'll find

All you'll need to remember for Tailoring is that you'll need to bring one each of
