8.3 PTR Corrupted Updates - Corrupted Weapons, Corruption Resistance on Legendary Cloak, Crit Damage Nerf

With a new PTR build comes some small updates to Corrupted Gear. The Weapons with unique effects revealed yesterday are actually Corrupted Weapons with static Corruption rolls, the Legendary Cloak has received some Corruption resistance as previously mentioned, and the Crit Damage Positive Affix has been nerfed.

Corrupted Weapons
We've now learned that the unique Weapons that we saw
on the Dungeon Journal
yesterday are Weapons that will always have Corruption on them.
Most specs will be able to equip one of these Weapons which have very special effects that will benefit their class. These weapons are VERY powerful but it does always come with a static
+25 Corruption
which will guarantee the

debuffs at a minimum.
The Tooltip and Item Pages on Wowhead don't currently show the Corruption and only show in game.

: Gain Void Ritual, giving your spells and abilities a chance to increase all secondary stats by 10 every sec for 20 sec. This chance is increased if at least 2 nearby allies also have Void Ritual.

: Your damaging abilities build stacks of Searing Flames. When you reach 30 stacks, exhale a Searing Breath, dealing damage equal to 5% of your health to all targets in front of you.

: Gain Obsidian Skin, increasing your Armor by 5%. Every 100% of your Max Health lost, explode with Obsidian Destruction, dealing Shadow damage equal to 1000% of your Armor to all enemies within 20 yds.

: Your autoattacks bite into the target's soul, dealing 2% of your health in damage and healing you for that amount.

Legendary Cloak Corruption Resistance
As

now has Corruption Resistance! At the base
Rank 1
, this has +5 Corruption Resistance, which will reduce your total Corruption by 5. This should increase as your Rank up your cloak.
If you have +20 Corruption on an Item, and 5 Corruption Resistance, your total Corruption will now be 15.
Crit Damage Nerf
As we mentioned yesterday, the Crit Damage Positive Affix has been nerfed significantly, however it is still likely the most powerful positive affix even after these nerfs.
