As of the Beta:

Well, if you end up on a mob that dies, you parachute to the ground. Now the other flying mobs are out of range and the starter ones (tethered at the ground by the quest giver: Emeni) initially can't be mounted anymore.

Keep trying, eventually Emeni's tethered drakes can be 'grappled' and you can go again.

13 Aerial Advantage	After accept quest use Riding Hook. Then you will fly having 3 skills. Use skill 2-3-2-3-2 When Battlesewn Roc will start panicking use skill 1. Don't use 2-3 when is panicking He can drop you down.

15 Power of the Chosen	Speak with Alexandros Mograine you will fly use skill 1.
16 The End is Now	Follow quest giver.
17 Pursuit of Justice	speak with Xandria, first kill 2 elite one by one.
18 Take Heart	Pick up Fleshshaper's Heart
19 Return to the Hold	Return to Bastion Elysian Hold and speak with Xandria 39 59

Yes, it still bugged, but I fixed it using the riding hook six times always on one of the two Battlesewen Roc next to the npc quest giver. It worked for me!

As of 2020-12-17 ...

Use the quest item on one of the two flying mobs chained on the ground to the quest giver. You should fly up into the air on the mount.
Press the '2' and '3' keys until you get a warning that the mount will panic and throw you off.
Select another flying (not on the ground chained) mount and press the '1' key. You should jump over from the old mount to the newly selected mount. The mount you left should die and you should get credit for its death.
Repeat #2 to #4 until you have completed the quest.
Use the exit vehicle button on the mount to fall off in parachute mode.

If you press escape while on one of these they will throw you off,guess its bugged

For Bartender users! You have two options.

1. Disable the addon and then reload the UI, it will reset your bars then continue on;
- You can do this in-game. Escape menu --> Addons --> Diable Bartender --> Reload. Don't forget to turn it back on.
- Your Bartender settings are saved, Don't worry!

2. If you do not want to disable Bartender then you can set your own keybinds.
- Escape menu --> Keybinds --> Bartender --> Find "Pet Bar" --> Reassign buttons 1, 2, and 3.

Others have posted what buttons do what.

Enure this is the last quest to do with this group of three. The next quest in the chain Power of the Chosen requires basically the same thing. Except now the only button to bind is Number 1

Questline took about 25 min after reaching Maldraxxus.

This is still bugged so you can't use the hook from your bag once youre up in the air, the targets are too far away. Just use the buttons on your bar including the hook button on bar and it automatically will hook another roc, whereas the one from your bag (which most helpful addons try to use) doesn't work.

Hit 1 to switch to another roc when you're hit 2 (Punch) enough to make the Roc panic. It takes 6 stacks and then you'll see a second debuff next to it and a message will pop up saying to get off. That's when you use your hook.

You have to do this quest twice if you intend to grind all of the covenants, as this is a cross-covenant questline for the Kyrian and Maldraxxi questlines. It was just as boring the second time as it was the first, let me tell you.

Description

Gharmal's rocs dominate the skies above, striking at our forces as we advance. The Zerekriss can't get into position until they are cleared out! I would take care of them myself, but I'm not much of a flier. Don't have the balance for it! Take my riding hook and latch onto a roc. Once you're riding, just start hitting it 'til the job is done.
