Looks like they added Draven to fly you... but it is NOT optional and you currently do not receive credit for him flying you. Currently no way to complete quest.

As annoying as it is to do if you go back to him after it bugs out he'll fly you correctly and the quest will complete

Had the quest bug out on me where it didn't update while I was flying. Only way to fix it was to log out while flying and log back in then wait for the NPC to get to where he is going and the quest finished it's self.

He was on the lower levels for me, for some reason. I assumed he would be with the rest of the NPCs where you first pick up the quest but if you jump down to where the Sanguine Depths entrance is and go around the outside path underneath the NPCs he was standing there all by himself :/

Edit: As of live he appears on the bridge with the rest of the NPCs like he is supposed to

Using Draven to get back to Oribos should be optional. I didn't see Draven, he doesn't show on the map, and I hearthed to find I was unable to turn in.

You can't hearthstone back to Oribos or make your way there in some way. Right after the scenario ends you have to speak to General Draven right there and have him take you.

It is very unclear, he isn't highlighted or anything. But he stands at 50, 29 in Revendreth on the broken bridge just above the entrance to Sanguine Depths.

Quest notes say talk to the gargoyle to complete the quest. He will then fly you to a flight path to go back to Oribos. If you do not read the quest text and simply accept and try to look for an icon on the map you're going to have a bad time.

If you hearthed instead of flying with Draven, make your way back to near where the Sanguine Depths dungeon is. He is on the bridge platform above the dungeon entrance. He flies you to a flightmaster. Take the flightmaster, don't hearth. When you get to Oribos run from the flightmaster and take the teleporter, then Tal-Inara is on that level.

This quest is bugged for me.

I initially screwed up and hearthed to Oribos to turn in the quest. Came here to find out that you HAVE to talk to Draven, so I abandoned the quest, flew back, and attempted it again, where I talked to Draven, and took the Flight Master path back to Oribos. Still no Tal-Inara. So, I abandoned the quest AGAIN, went back, made sure I sat through any and all conversation, read every word and followed it, and when I got back to Oribos, still no Tal-Inara.

No covenant for me I guess...

yea I hearthed back too, incredibly annoying and unnecessary. I cant imagine being a new player and having to go through this kinda bs.

Quest Name:	Start and description
1 The End of the Beginning	Quest start from Prince Renathal 50.2 28.3 First speak with General Draven He will take you to the Flightmaster. Mainly you need to go to Oribos and speak with Tal-Inara 38.8 69.4.
2 The Looming Dark	Listen to the conversation then will be a movie.
3 Choosing Your Purpose	You have to choose your Covenant. At first speak with all 4 representatives. Then go to table ( you have all information ovet there to ) When you will pick you will reach achievement Choosing Your Purpose.

Watch your steps. There are holes on the bridge.

If you fall, might as well pick up the flight point right to the northeast. :)

You have to get back and take Draven's flight though. As mentioned above, that's required.

The NPC interaction associated with this quest:

The Curator says: The Maw grows, surging with this flood of anima. I fear nothing will stop the Jailer from breaking free.

The Accuser says: Denathrius is surely gathering his forces inside Castle Nathria. Unchecked, his loyalists will soon overwhelm us.

Prince Renathal says: We must rally the Harvesters at Sinfall while this mortal returns to Oribos. They must be told what transpired here.

General Draven says: I shall escort the Maw Walker, my prince. Come, <name>.
General Draven says: I can take you to the closest flight master to Oribos. From there you should head to Oribos. We must inform the other Covenants of what happened here.

(As others have said, make sure you interact with General Draven. He will fly players to Pridefall Hamlet in Revendreth, but if you use a hearth the quest might bug out completely.)

All characters lvled via Threads of Fate can not get and complete this quest and get stuck with "Drained" debuff in this area and with the NPCs locked there ( Prince Renathal, The Curator, The Accuser and Draven).
I don't think this was intended

Hi, after completeing "The End of the Begining" i.e. talking to Tal Inara, I did not get the next quest. Is this a bug ? Is there any other requirement that I need to fulfill. I am level 52

Description

<Renathal struggles to speak, his wounds evident.> I knew Denathrius had hoarded anima, but this... this is beyond imagining. The Jailer will surely use this power to shatter his bonds. Should he break free of the Maw, all the realms of Death will fall. We must continue to press the fight against Denathrius. Alas, we cannot hope to succeed alone. Return to Oribos with Draven and speak to the Honored Voice, Tal-Inara. Tell her what you have seen this day and implore her to action.
