Currently bugged on Beta 9/17. Adds never spawn to the next area and The Tithelord becomes stuck in his bubble.

It is possible to do the quest, you just have to kite the boss of the quest about half way up to next point in quest and attack him till he puts a new shield on, by being half way he will go to next point and next quest tricker is activated.

If you activate next quest tricker before he moves by himself, you have to start over.

Still highly buggy, but it's a work around

Completed 1/5/21. Kite the tithelord 3/4 up the hill towards the 2nd fountain to get around the bug

Just completed this. It bugged out first at the last step on the Kel'Thuzad interaction as others have said. I abandoned the quest, and re-got it from Prince Renathal, and it worked as normal.

Quest was bugged for me, and this worked.
I hearted backed to Sinfal, abandoned the quest.
Went back out to the quest giver, picked it up, and was able to complete it finally.
Tried everything mentioned already on this forum and nothing seemed to work.

Quest still bugged 1/12/2021...

Spawned in the room with the adept necromancers.. Started killing one, but it wouldn't die. Tried another... it wouldn't die.. Now I have two necromancers with 1hp chasing after me. Died.. then Kael'Thas shows up and the quest works.. Annoying.

I was trying to skip the adds by pulling the boss near the next engagement point, and while it worked fine for the first fountain, by reaching the lich without engaging you trigger a bug: if you arrive there before the boss, it will get stuck in its invulnerable form. That means, wait until red swirls start appearing before reaching the summit, otherwise the order of events will overlap and cause a bug.

The first 2 times, it "bugged", I thought - but no...
I was just not listening to what Prince Renethal says.

You gotta take it easy - follow Renethal to first place, where Tithelord spawns.
When he is some percentages down, he will go away.
Follow him, and kill everything on the way.
Halfway up, there is a stone-statue - stop here.
Renethal will join you and talk - Tithelord will come.
Hit him, until he moves on.
Follow, and kill all red mobs on your way.
Then you can kill him.

Be sure you wait on all dialogues and kill all red mobs.

When you are doing this on a flying mount, you can not just fly to "The Tithelord" combat spots and kill him there. You have to actually do the escort quest, otherwise it bugs out and he won't be attackable at the end. Hope it helps!

This bugged for me as well the first time I tried, flying between his "fight" points and skipping the mobs along the way. The second time, I also flew between "fight" points EXCEPT for the final one at the top of the hill. For this one, I hovered towards the top of the hill and waited for Renathal to get there and start talking. Once The Tidelord turned red, I attacked and it went fine.

Skippping (through flight) causes problems?

Just do the last non elite before charging the final Tithelord spawn and it might not happen to "never trigger"

I had that before, which causes you to either have to exit WoW, relog onto another character and log back in to that one, or at times if even that doesn't work you will have to repeat the whole thing after abandoning.

It seems that this one final wave can be skipped 2/3 and then you're good to go.

Killed all the enemies and he's still orange at the top. Had to abandon and redo it.

The quest bugged out for me at the last part at the top. He talked to KelThuzad all fine, he just never became attackable.
Even after abandoning the quest several times and trying it again without flying over it and killing all the mobs, the Tithelorde just stayed at the top with his last portion of health - unattackable.
What I did is I ported to Dalaran with my Hearthstone and THEN abandoned the quest. THat's when it finally completely reset so I could start over... very annoying but hey.

Quest bugged for me in the end so i abandoned it and did it again but this time i was not using a mount and killed every mob on the path up

It seems as if Kel'Thuzad and/or Prince Renethal spawn before The Tithelord gets up to the top, it will bug out on you.

Just don't beat The Tithelord to the top, and you should be fine.

This quest will bug if using your flying mount to skip trash mobs ONLY if you get to his next stop ahead of him. For example the last stage at the top of the winding path.. mount up after he becomes untouchable & wait for him to get to the top. He then starts placing red swirls at your feet. That's your queue to fly up and it won't bug out.

Description

With his army defeated, the Tithelord is vulnerable. Now, he has but a small contingent to protect him. Let us strike him down decisively. He draws power from these anima wells, keeping it all for himself. If you can hold his attention, I can not only empower you to defeat him but also disable the wells. Speak to me when you are ready to begin. When the time is right, the baroness will lead our new recruits into battle.
