I found that you have to gather these items in order. i.e. Boneface won't drop "Boneface's Key" until you've found the other 3 items

Corpse of Hotshot located at 56.1 17.9 spot next to a chest with a quest mark above.
Bag of Horse Treats is just at the left road, it's lies on the ground.
Finally, there a cave a bit left of a bag's position, kill Boneface the Giant inside.
Take Boneface's "Key" from the body and free Eddie.

Follow the Eddie Norwington trail, you have to examine 3 objects: Hotshot, Bag of Horse Treats, Boneface Key.
Objects are highlighted.
After you kill Boneface the Giant take Boneface's "Key" to free Eddie Norwington from the cage.

In the midst of doing this quest, I walked up the hill and saw the bubbling cauldron with a question mark over it, and for a few brief moments, was utterly horrified

...until I realized that Stone Soup, which I was also doing, was ready for turn in at said cauldron, and that I was, in fact, charged with getting Boneface's key to free Eddie at this point. But boy, was THAT a shocker until I stared at my quest log for more than a few seconds.

2. The Stoat Hunt	Abbey Watkins - You need to collect Soft Stoat Pelt this is droping from Faintstep Stoat. To get to this mobs you need to press on Stoat Den from one is coming out 2-3 Faintstep Stoat drop is not 100%.	Abbey Watkins
3. An Element of Danger	Harold Beckett - Kill Mudbrush Boar to get 8 Rugged Boar Tusk. From one can drop even 2 Rugged Boar Tusk.	Harold Beckett
4. Bolas and Birds	Harold Beckett - You need to shot down 6 Hollowbeak Falcons they are flying over your head xD. Use Bola Launcher.	Harold Beckett

9. Stone Soup	Recipe Rock - You can find it on bottom in Mistfall Cleft. You need to Collect 4 ingredients: 4 Soup Stone ( that a stones you can find them on ground ), 2 Unidentifiable Meat ( Drop from Grimestone Chef ), 1 Saurolisk Scale ( drop from Grimestone Handler ) and Stirring Bone ( is on northeast ). 12. Beginner Equitation	Lord Aldrius Norwington - At first go mount Cooper and get on arena. At first you will need to take down 8 Gnol Target ( use skill 2 ), then take down 2 Paper Zeppelin ( mark them and Use skill 3 ) and at the and jump over Fence 8 times ( i did not check that you can jum over same Fences ). 13. Show Me What You've Got	"Lord Aldrius Norwington - Go to mount Cooper and move to arena. You need to hit 150 points. You have 2 ways. 1 Way You can just focus on Paper Zeppelin durning that time will come 3 ( one is giving 50 points ). 2 way jump over Fences and stack Style ( is giving you 1 extra point on stack when you will take down Gnoll targets using skill 2, Style is only for 5 sec then don't forget to jump all the time xD )."
