To be able to get to Stormsong Monastery you have to speak to Will Melborne.
Will Melborne is located on a pier 74.2 24.6, you spoke to him after coming to Boralus.
After you sailing to Monastery, Taelia should appear next to you on the pier where you've been delivered to.

I chartered the ferry, but Taelia isn't at the Stormsong Monastery dock - even though there's a yellow question mark there. ** Edited: Buggy. I went back to Cyrus's room, abandoned the quest and reacquired it. THIS TIME, Taelia went with me to the ferry master. But even as she talked to me during the ferry ride, and there was a yellow ? at the Stormsong Monastery dock, she was AWOL. Reporting. ***Edited again. As I gave up for the 3rd time and headed into the water (hearth still on CD), Taelia appeared on her horse in the bay.

You may want to check under the pier in the water for Taelia. That's where I found here after trying to go back and forth.

Use the Ferry in Boralus, it'll get you to Stormsong Monastery.

When I approached the ferry man from the water on my Water Strider mount, all I was offered were locations nearby. There was no option to go to the monastery. However, I got onto the pier and Taelia appeared. Then I was able to speak with the ferry man and the option to travel to the Stormsong Monastery was now available to me. Hope this helps.

I present The Tidesages of Stormsong quest chain. Part of Stormsong and Dance

On Wowhead is a big mess on this story line. First of all Kul Tiran Guard is not giving any quests. All quests are given by Taelia She will follow you all the time. First 5 quests are in Boralus.

Quest Name:	Start and description	Finish
1. Stormsong Valley	Start From Scouting Map - Pick it and speak with Taelia.	Taelia
2. The Missing Fleet	Taelia - Speak with Will Melborne to get ferry to Stormsong Monastery.	Taelia
3. Searching for Answers	Taelia - You need to question: Sister Adrianna, Brother Darrel and Sister Celicia. You giving back quest to Taelia bont know why on wowhead is showing wrong.	Taelia
4. Archived Knowledge	Taelia - You need to find Kul Tiran Guard He will take you to the Archives. During conversation you will be attack by Lieutenant Wade Kill Her.	Taelia
5. Time to Leave	Taelia - You need to travel to Stormsong Valley use for that Galeheart ( gryphon ) Is on south in tower next to river.	Taelia
6. Border Issues	Taelia - Clear the blockade. For that speak with Stormsong Sentinel or Stormsong Inspector You have 3 options: - ask to move, -pay them or attack I use all the time option 1 most of them will fight with you some of them will just move back. Get to 100%.	Taelia
7. Carry On	Taelia - Travel to Brennadam to see Taelia. After you will finish this quest you will reach part of Stormsong and Dance.	Taelia

When I first arrived at the monastery Taelia was there, but would not talk to me. I mounted my water strider, rode far enough away on the water for Taelia to disappear, then went back to the monastery pier, she was there waiting for me, I could talk to her and hand in the quest.

If you're like me and you're going back through the zone questlines for transmog, you might get stuck like I did. If you're unable to get this quest, make sure you don't have the starter quests up for either of the other zones. I had started the quest for Tiragrade Sound but abandoned it, so the map on the wall wouldn't give me the other starting quests. Pick up any quests from the big Kul Tiran fellow next to the map and do them, come back to the map, and you should be able to pick up the other quests.

If the quest for Stormsong valley does not start from the map. The Tol Tragor quest is stopping it from starting.

When I tried to pick up this quest there was an ! on the Scouting Map but each time I opened it, either no quests showed OR I'd click on the quest and a blank (bugged) quest box would come up. Clicking Accept did nothing. I couldn't talk to Taelia either. I ended up trying the board about 15 times before it finally showed me quest boxes with text and I was able to accept - then I spoke to Taelia to pick up this quest. Lesson - just keep trying! :D

Description

The tidesage order has a sizable monastery right here in Boralus. I say we start our search for the fleet there. Someone there has to know something, right? You don't just lose the entire legendary Kul Tiran fleet on accident! We'll need to take a ferry over to the monastery. Make sure you bring your pass with you!
