If you are a warrior, you may have issues approach Moonlight Ascent if you started campaign quests in same area. You'll have to complete those quests to fix phasing issues to finish this quest. You cannot abandon the campaign quests to fix it, cause the phasing won't revert since quest giver is also part of that phasing, you MUST complete warrior campaign quests in area before it returns to normal phasing and allows you to complete this one.

You have to find three spots on the Broken Shore and empower Enchanted Elven Tome with energy.

Moonlight Ascent is located at 75 36 point, in the cliffs. Path up starts from 71 35 point.
Lost Temple is located located near the Moonlight Ascent point, coordinates are 71.9 40.8.
Felfire Pass is located at 82 45 point, near The Lost Temple cave.

For me the Lost Temple spot was above the cave next to the moonlight ascent spot

Not sure what the problem is, but I can't seem to receive this quest from Khadgar. I was able to get through the scenario and arrive at the first FP at broken shore. I completed all of the world quests and even earned enough resources to upgrade a building, but there isn't any quest continuation. It just ended and I am unsure what to do next.

This quest CAN be reached from the path in Felfire Pass (78, 38)

This quest is NOT located in Felfire Pass or The Lost Temple (the cave in Felfire Pass at 76.39)

Make sure to head back to the Broken Shore after completing this quest. A new quest, The Broken Shore: Investigating the Legion, will be available to you there, allowing you to proceed with empowering your artifact (unlocking the new 7.2 traits).

The Lost Temple Point is NOT in the cave!

You can get to both Moonlight Ascent AND Lost Temple Point from the path that starts at 71, 35.

Fly to Aalgen Point and then head down into the water, head East until you reach 81 52, for those without coordinates its just past the small island on your map, you'll see a ruin on your left.

Then head up to the first book. You can't miss it, it's purple and glowy.

Keep going away from the water, when you reach the giant pool of yellow goo on the right, turn left and head up the rock angle towards the right until you find a V opening in the rock outcropping.

Head up the rock, when you get to the top make sure you don't fall down one of the holes. Jump over and head over to the stone henge looking thing and grab your second book.

Go left up to the pillars and turn right and follow the path around to the final book. Straight ahead after the path finishes curving around.

Fly to Aalgen Point. If you don't have the fp, water walk and remember to pick up the fp.

Felfire Pass

Get in the water and run east to 81, 52. The item is in the ruined temple that you can see on the shore at 82.4, 45.2. Just click on the small purple light.

Lost Temple

Get back in the water, run west past Aalgen Point and at 64, 53 a river starts off that runs through a cove. Follow the river. At 71.3, 35.5 on the right there is a somewhat hidden ramp up the mountain. Follow the road up to 71.2, 41.8. Turn left and the ruined temple is in front of you. Click on the purple light in the temple.

Moonlight Ascent

Immediately to the left of the temple is a road. Follow this for a short way and you will see the last ruined temple. Click on the purple light in the temple.

Use your Flightmaster's whistle. Fly to Deliverance Point and hand in at Khadgar. After the follow-up quest (returning to your order hall) you can do artifact research to your heart's content!

I am having an issue on my mage who is stuck at AK 24 and cannot do any more research. I have none pending and in my class hall is says talk to Khadgar at Broken Shore I go to him and he has nothing to offer quest wise. I cannot do anymore research so cannot get to AK 25 to pick up the quest.

Anyone have any ideas, because I am getting pretty frustrated here.

Wanted to point out that The Broken Shore: Investigating the Legion, is ONLY available if you are AK 25 and if you stuck at AK 24 like myself and others it is NOT available. Which is exactly our issue.

If you're starting with a blank map, work your way over to Aalgen flight point on the small island to the NE. All 3 floating books are on this island. Next head North to uncover the words "The Lost Temple" on your map.

Two sites are pretty close together in this area. The third (Felfire Pass) is a bit south and east. The tomes are located in circular temples with columns and aren't in a cave.

My coords as similar to those posted by others:

71.8, 40.8 (Lost Temple).
75.6, 36.3 (Moonlight Ascent).
82.4, 45.2 (Felfire Pass).

Detours (that didn't work): I accepted an invitation from an imp which led to a cave that was named moonlight something but that wasn't it. Also took a ride on a green circular hover board and explored most of the central area.

Quest is bugged for me at Felfire Pass. Tried relog and abandonded quest. Nothing helps.

I had problems with Felfire Pass .. I could collect from the other 2 places, but not this one. In order to complete this quest, make sure you have completed the quest, Champions of Legionfall. I finished that up. and was able to then finish Seeking Lost Knowledge.

I had a problem with this quest as well. Apparently, I was able to obtain this quest prior to maxing out my artifact research, and consequently was unable to see the quest targets at each location. After I had maxed out the research, I abandoned the quest and then re-obtained it from Khadgar. All was well after that, and the quest performed as described in the other comments above. Good luck!

Mine was bugged when absorbing ancient knowledge and wouldn't give me credit with the "Remnant of Lost Knowledge"...redoing the absorb by right clicking the "Remnant of Lost Knowledge" seemed to do the trick and allow for completion of the quest. Cheers!

You cannot do this quest while you are on A Bit of Espionage. The nodes at which to use Enchanted Elven Tome will be inaccessible, as A Bit of Espionage puts you in a different phase and takes precedence. You have to do the campaign quest before you can do the artifact knowledge quest, or drop it.

If you want to do this on an alt, the quest is NOT AVAILABLE and NOT NECESSARY if you used Artifact Research Compendium: Volumes I-IV to boost the Artifact Knowledge of the alt (Artifact Research Compendium: Volumes I-IV is available to your other toons if they have artifact knowledge at 25 or above)

In this case, the alt will be able to research higher Artifact Knowledge levels without this quest and will instead get offered The Broken Shore: Investigating the Legion from Khadgar straight away.

I leveled a fresh 110, unlocked broken isles, and had a tome to increase AK to 40. I wanted to be sure it could actually boost me to 40 without wasting it, so I was trying to complete this quest. Without the 25 pre-req it wouldn't show and so I risked the AK40 tome anyways. It worked and boosted me to 40 without having to complete (this portion) of the broken isles quest (I did everything up to where this would have given me the quest)

You cannot turn this in to Khadgar in the Violet Citadel in Dalaran; you must turn it in to the Khadgar at Deliverance Point in Broken Shore.

I can see this quest with an orange ‘!’ on the map but Khadgar does not offer it to me. What is going wrong?

As of patch 7.3, there doesn't seem to be any reason to do this quest. It looks like it was removed from the game, despite the world map still showing an exclamation point where it used to be offered. Perhaps it's a bug that the marker still shows. We're all at AK 45 right now and earn a level each week, at the same rate as everyone else. This quest was used to unlock AK 26 when some characters were capped at 25. Basically, there would be no benefit to this quest now.

Description

During the assault, our forces uncovered an ancient night elf tome. The fact that it survived so long in these harsh lands is quite remarkable. Its enchantments have faded over the ages, but I sense the book is almost... hungry, as if reaching out to places where the night elves practiced magic long ago. Bringing the tome to nearby ruins may reveal secrets that could give us an edge against the Legion.
