This quest became available for me with 7000/21000 Revered reputation with The Nightfallen.

Meet Farodin at the Temple of Fal'adora. To get here, use the portal to Falanaar in the quest hub.

Leads to:

1a. The Shardmaidens - Kill 6 Shardmaiden.
1b. Fragments of Disaster - Collest 5 Crystalized Bark. They somewhat look like herbs on the ground. These can be found all around the temple. Upon collecting the items return to the temple of Fal'adora.
2. Another Arcan'dor Closes... - Return to Shal'aran. You can just use the teleporter next to the npc.
3. The Stuff of Dreams - Collect Purified Life Essence from the Emerald Dream, hidden inside the Emerald Nightmare Raid. This requires you to kill Xavius and loot the Purified Life Essence.
Completing this quest will complete 'A Growing Crisis' for Good Suramaritan

Upon accepting The Stuff of Dreams it seems that First Arcanist Thalyssra offers you an extra quest.
Branch of the Arcan'dor - Requires you to speak to Thalyssra. Rewards you with Branch of the Arcan'dor.

It upgrades the Spellstone of Kel'danath which is used during the world quests which requires you to send withered to Shal'aran.

The portal you should use is actually labeled "Falanaar" and it takes you underground. Do not fly to Irongrove Retreat.

Is their any other things to be completed before accepting this quest I have hit 7000/21000 with The Nightfallen but I am not getting the quest from Valewalker Farodin.

I did completed that quest and then didn't show checked off on my achievement and quest chapter. Bugged?

Edit: Nvm, Have to go Raid for The Stuff of Dreams and then am sure check off afterward.

Maybe this was changed? I only have 1311/12000 Honored with The Nightfallen, and I got this quest.

I got over 9950/12000 with the nightfallen and I still haven't got the quest. i completed all the pre requisits to get the quest too and nada. I'm confused. Am I missing something?

If you've done almost all chains in Good Suramaritan achievement and still not getting this quest, check that you've finished Leyline Bling.

Oh wow, so the huge event that destroyed Falanaar and turned it into a massive crater and also what created the Fal'dorei was the previous arcan'dor failing.

That wouldn't be good to happen to Meredil.

Okay, few things about the quest:

It will unlock as you hit 7000/21000 revered with The Nightfallen, also, Statecraft meta must be completed.
The portal you need is a second portal in left corner, it's named Falanaar and will bring you right to Valewalker Farodin.

I can confirm you don't need to do any mythic dungeons to finish main storyline quests. You have to do raid though. LFR is so easy these days. If you don't see the quest giver, feed them. A lot of times, they don't give you a following questions if they are hingry.

My friend can't find this quest. She is done with exalted, but still gets nothing from Farodin. Does anyone know anything about that?

Exulted with Nightfallen
Statecraft meta
Fed all 3 blue question marks in ShalAran
Used the correct portal

What am I missing?

This quest only appeared for me when I had completed "Statecraft"

At that time Thalyssra (to whom you turn in the final part of Statecraft) and Farondis BOTH appeared differently (more accessible) in Shal'Aran. Thalyssra as usual had heaps of demands, but at least Farondis gave me the invite to hit the FALANAAR portal and meet him there, for this quest - A Growing Crisis.

To Clear Things Up, there are 4 requirements to make this quest available: A Xavius kill (Rift of Aln) in the Emerald Nightmare, a least 7000 Revered rep, Complete the Achievement Leyline Bling, and having completed all quests for "A Good Surmaritan" except for "A Growing Crisis" and "A Change of Seasons". Xavius can be killed in LFR and it's a fast and easy encounter. It was the last step that was missing for me to get the quest to show up.

I never got "a growing crisis" but in got the quest "The emerald nightmare: The stuff of dreams" I am exalted with the Nightfallen. Can i join the Raid and get "a Growing crisis" later? Only thing I need to unlock flying.

It seems as if the new patch has lowered the rep limits for this. I'm not quite sure when I was able to get this quest, but somewhere after 5,000/21,000 revered I noted that Valewalker Farodin had a new quest for me.

ALSO the next line of quests for the achievement Good Suramaritan starting with A Change of Seasons opened as soon as I turned in the last quest in this line. :D

If you stuck like me without possibility to get the quest after fulfilling all the requirements mentioned by players here (Statecraft, Revered, all leylines discovered (Leyline Bling achi or something like that)), it is possible that you have to do quest Emerald Nightmare: The stuff of Dreams.

Unlike other quests that lead to raid/dungeons, this one is not optional. You have to kill Xavius in Emerald Nightmare raid. Since I like to play "solo" these days I just joined random group in Raid Finder (Rift of Aln) without any special preparations.
After killing Xavius you will be able to obtain some kind of tear from the pedestal right by Cenarius.

Be sure to do the quest "The Emerald Nightmare: The Stuff of Dreams" and kill the last boss in the raid: The Emerald Nightmare or the quest line will never pop as I learned the hard way.

Im confused. You are all talking about raid quests and its only goal is to meet a nightelf in suremar in the temple of faladora. The quest after you complete the two quests in the temple requires you to go into a raid.

What am I missing? I cannot seem to find a way to start the storyline "A Growing Crisis" I have taken the portal to Falaanar but Valewalker Farodin is not there.

Attention for those who are at the quest marker but cannot see Valewalker Farodin! Abandon the quest, go back to Shal'aran and pick it up (BUT) follow Farodin!, he actually runs through a portal and you need to follow him through it as well in order to carry on with this chain :)

I did not get this quest when I finished statecraft, I have 12,000 rep, how do I start it.

If you are getting frustrated because you can't find this quest, you need to finish "Statecraft". Might need to go back and talk to Arluin, pay him mana to finish the "Statecraft" chain.

Once you have turned in "A Growing Crisis" to Farolin, you get two new quests, "Fragments of Disaster" and "Shardmaidens".

Both of these quests are within the Temple. Valewalker Farolin tells about the history of the exiles and how he corrupted them, about the arcan'dor, and the death of the ancient tree.

Takes a few minutes to get fragments scattered around the shardmaidens and then back to Farodin for turn in.

Next quest you get is called "Another Arcan'dor Closes".

As of BfA, this questline ends with The Stuff of Dreams. Once you accept it, you immediately turn it in, it completes, and you start on A Change of Seasons.

I am Exalted with The Nightfallen and this quest is still not available to me. Matter of fact there is no quests available to me is Suramar with the exceptions of the world quests that I keep repeating each day. Can someone explain to me where I go or how to pick up these quests that are listed in the Good Suramaritan achievement. I have completed them all with the exception of 3 A Growing Crisis, Statecraft and a change of seasons.

If you cant find the start of this quest, try taking the portal in to falanaar in shal'aran. quest giver standing next to portal in falanaar for me

A Growing Crisis

Meet Valewalker Farodin at the Temple of Fala'dora. You can travel there using the Portal to Falanaar in Shal'aran.

Description

The Arcan'dor is failing. This energy was once bound in its boughs and fueled its growth. There was balance, between life and arcane. Now that energy is breaking free. When the heart can no longer hold it, this tree will kill every living thing in this hall. I have seen this happen before and I must find a way to stop it from happening again. We must go to the tree that came before. Its bones can guide us. Meet me at the temple of Fal'adora. We will descend together.
