This is the beginning quest for the your first Order Hall (Mage) campaign.

1 A Court Operation- Find Ravandwyr in Azsuna 64.9, 37.8
2 Prepare To Be Assimilated- Obtain the Pearl of Arcane Wisdom and 5 Narthalas scrolls. Pearl is 64.8, 41 Spitespeaker Lir'kess. Kill Hatescales for scrolls. Meet Ravandwyr 64.3, 31.4
3 What Is Going On Here- Question any 5 Empyrean Society members in the camp below you, Investigate the brazier mid-camp, Investigate Building 65.8, 32.5, Investigate the Rotunda 66.4, 33.5, Examine the Exotic Book 66.5, 33.7, Slay Marian Blackfire who appears right behind you.
4a Some Knowledge Shouldn't Be Shared- Collect 5 Empyrean Tomes (scattered around camp)
4b The Next Level Has Arrived- Kill 10 Empyrean Society Members ( the members are now all enemies)
Turn in to Esara Verrinda who is helping you fight.
5 Final Exit- Use The Rune of Opening to unlock the Empyrean Society Building door (you can polymorph the members guarding it)
Nora Blackfire Slain (inside the building)
Loot the Fel Chest (give missive to Ravandwyr who appears in the room)
Empyrean Society Report - Return to the Hall of Guardians to turn in
In the Hall of the Guardians you get three more quests:
1 Champion Esara Varrinde (now a follower)
2 Champion Ravandwyr (now a follower)
3 The Council Is In Session- Return to Dalaran and speak to the council; turn in to Archmage Runeweaver in the Violet Citadel
He gives you:
Archmage Vargoths Retreat- investigate Archmage Vargoths quarters- (use portal) Examine well-worn scroll, journal, magical tome, frosted doughnut, crystal ball: turn in to Archmage Kalec (who is following you around and commenting).
Following His Footsteps- Ask your champions to investigate his travels-
For the remainder of the quest after 'Final Exit' go to Final Exit

A Covert Operation

Meet Ravandwyr in Azsuna.

Description

Your champion discovered some sort of powerful magic emanating from the secretive Empyrean Society enclave in Azsuna. Archmage Vargoth asked me to request Meryl's aid in investigating it, but as you can see, Meryl is clearly too ill to travel at the moment. Would you be willing to go in his place? You will need to prove yourself in order to gain entrance. We should be able to find something sufficient in the Hatecoil Warcamp in Azsuna.
