This moronic quest gives you very little indication of where to go...

the answer is 41.48 76.54 for the first one.
There is some pottery on the ground under a nest, near the west end of the Wretched Hollow.

If you're not getting the quest completion at the camp, make sure you're not running up to the hut mounted. Try dismounting on other side of the stream.

Quest bugged for me. After i speak to Jabrul he follow me for few seconds and dissapear, then another coming and dissapear again and again and again. Not possible to finish the quest due to even if he start searching as soon as i start the fight with attacking harpies he dissapear again and another coming... I was trying reload/abandon quest nothing help...

I couldn't finisht the first one and someone else complained, we grouped, and we found out that as long as someone else kills the mobs you can finish it. Kinda strange.

When you're done with this quest, head back to Dalaran by whatever means and in whatever fashion you deem timely, where Tiffany will be waiting with quest=40538 to follow.

Do not mount while escorting Jabrul. Cross with him at the stream at 45.34, 71.49 towards the huts across the stream and then he will leave you and tell you to meet him in inside one of the houses and you will get a quest complete. Again, you must cross the stream at those coordinates and you must be unmounted and not in any sort of travel form.

Took him back to the Night Elf Camp but nothing happens. He just keeps following me. Quest will not complete. Must be bugged.

You MUST follow the dirt path on foot across the streams from the harpies to the NE village huts for the quest to complete - entering the area from any other direction or while mounted won't work. Another poorly designed quest like many in Legion that MUST be done a very specific way which is NOT stated on the quest or map, and instead requires tabbing out to read comments on Wowhead to get basic information.

First stone located at 41.5 76.5 point,
Second stone located at 44.5 78.5 point, dismount before you come close to stones, else Jabrul may bugged.
Night Elf camp — 45.6 67.3 point, there's a house, escort Jabrul to there.

I did not have any problem with the quest itself, locations indicated on map fine. but arriving at the house, there would be no interacton possible with Jabrul. I tried walking back to before the stream, using no mounts, still no luck. Simple log-out, log-in worked.

"Jabrul doesn't understand how the harpies can treat their jewelry with such disrespect."

If you can fly it is easy. Once you accept the quest from him, fly up just above the harpies - not too far so he doesnt despawn. Jabruul on his own doesnt aggro them and you can fly right to the hut without having to fight. Very helpful if you are a squishy.

Went there without mount and couldn't get the quest done.

What i i did was follow the dirt path (facing outward direction from the building where local drogbar was) and walked back out up to across the bridge to Wretched hollow, and walked back to the building on dirt path.

Hope this help.

When I approach the first site, Jabrul appears to try and start the harpy event, but nothing happens.

I've tried the no mounting, walking on the dirt path, etc., but still Jabrul won't summon the harpy...

This quest appears to be impossible in 7.3. I've tried every suggestion here, and nothing works. When I go to the first area, he just stands there and does nothing. There are no mobs to kill. He doesn't say anything. He won't start acting normal again until I move really far away from him.

My order hall body guard seemed to give me issues. If Jabrul won't start searching try walking out of the blue quest objective area, dismissing your body guard (Jabrul should briefly disappear then reappear) and then reentering the objective area. Worked for me.

I had an issue completing this quest because i flew from the second nest straight to the end area around coords 45.6,69.6. I then ran in cat form back over the bridge leading to the harpy area. I stopped around 45.3,75.5 and ran back. The moment i got to end area, quest was completed

For the last part - The Night Elf Camp - you need to walk or ground mount across the river to the circle on your minimap at 45.2 70.3.

Jabrul will then make for the house where you meet him inside at 45.5 67.4 and complete the quest.

Flying to the circle or house won't work. I've tried both.

Went to first spot, jabril did nothing, alliance attacked me ;p moved to 41,76, logged out then back in, stay in the water... this worked for me

As of patch 8.0, this quest is still bugged. Dismounted before the stream and went to the blue circle, nothing happened. Jabrul kept following me and the quest would not complete. Stood in the blue circle and logged out/logged back in and it worked fine.

This quest is just buggy in general. After it bugged on me the first time, I tried read the comments and tried the various fixes. Nothing worked. I abandoned and did the whole quest again without using a mount at any point. Still bugged. We would get to the final point and he would tell me that he'd meet me in the NE hut but then he wouldn't leave and I got no quest completion. Numerous relogs in Thas'talah Basin did not work for me.

What finally seemed to work for me was to walk him back to the Wretched Hollow, relog while in Wretched Hollow, then walk him in.

9.0.1 quest is still bugged. I had issues with escorting him and completing the quest. I used the general consensus here (do the entire quest on foot, do not use a mount, staying on the path). I had to reset the quest twice to get this to work.

When escorting him back to the night elf camp, I went into the house and logged out. After I logged back in, the quest completed itself and I was able to move on. Once the quest is complete, you can find him inside the house just to the left of the doorway (first floor).

For Horde, there is a small Alliance camp next to the location of the first stone. I wandered into it on accident and was flagged PvP. The first stone is to the left of, but not in, the Alliance camp.

I wanted to state that I did all the jewel finding with Brul, ran back to the night elf house, he says his stuff, doesn't complete. I logged off after a second attempt inside the house thinking the flying mount ruined it and relogging he is in the house, phases into his spot and completes quest.

What worked for me after several attempts (didn't abandon quest), was, I stopped at 45.30, 70 (+/-), at the other side of the stream. He then grants the credit for the escort, but asks you to go to the house. I was asked to go to the house before but he wouldn't complete quest. The only difference was stopping (even mounted) at the spot mentioned above.

This quest is still really bugged.
Jabrul does not trigger correctly on entering the blue circle areas in 75% of the tries.
You will have to go back a lot and try to enter it again and again and again.
On the last circle, when he says, that he meets you in the night elven house, make sure he walks to the house.
If he stands still, the trigger did not work and you have to try to trigger it again.

As of DF...what is this? Patch 10.0.7? I think? There is no way to complete this quest. Twice I've had him say he'd meet me at the Night Elf house and twice he just stood there so I went to the house. Twice he appeared as if by magic and mentioned the harpies stealing his jewels and let's go get them. You can talk to him but it does no good. It's completely broken.

This quest is still bugged, BUT I exited from the game while was on the quest. When I logged back, Jabrul just went into the elf house and my quest is just went "Ready for turn-in"
