The screenshot for this quest is incorrect. This is the alliance quest and should have the image for the Lunarfall Garrison.

I have bugged at stage 6. Completed the invasion with 3 achievements and reward, cannot turn in quest to Sargeant Crowley. An orange message was on the chat window "Garrison - Debug - Shutdown scenario". So my question is this, after submitting the bug, should I keep the quest in my log or abandon it? It was a pain to actually finish. Thanks in advance!

If you want this to stop, Abandon quest go away from garrison (Far away) then stone back and problem should be resolved, though you should not pick up the quest again

I did this on 92 Holy Priest.

Start the quest with Sgt Crowler, he'll walk down to the fountain.

There will be several waves of baddies, the trick was to stay alive while dropping dots on everything I could. I didn't use my heals for my guys, but when they go down there will be big blood drops above them that you can channel to bring them back into the fight.

Pretty much just endure for the fight, your garrison fighters ain't all noobs, and Sgt Crowler keeps them in line.

re: previous commentary; I did not have buggy issues, nor quest abandonment issues at all. The first time I took the quest I had to log out. When I came back, I just abandoned the quest as usual and took it again.

So I did this but didn't earn the achievement - It's an Invasion.
Also never got a chance to do the level 100 version once I'd levelled, does this one count as your weekly cap?

Yesterday i met a guy in the dungeon Grimrail Depot on hc, i noticed he was wearing an epic helm of 645 ilvl IF i remember well , so i asked him where did he get it from. He told me of the invasion quest, since i have been looking for a clue about the invasion thing for the past week, now i finally managed to meet some1 who had already done it, what i got was this, when you guys hit lvl 100 you need to start farming mobs on areas of lvl 100, he told me that he went to the everbloom wilds in gorgrond, and he farmed for some time while he was in a party, and after a while a "notification" appeared on his garrison report, the garrison button around the mini map, telling him about a quest he can get in his garrison. So he went back, got the quest and invited 2 of his friends, did the quest and earned the golden reward easilly, and with the return of the quest he got an epic bag called Invader's Forgotten Treasure that can give you helm shoulders boots or wep of 645 ilvl AND have a chance on one of the 4 following mounts:
1) Garn Steelmaw
2) Giant Coldsnout
3) Smoky Direwolf
4) Shadowhide Pearltusk
He also got 75 apexis XD.The quest is apparently weekly so you wont be able to get it more than once per week.I also tried to find how to trigger the invasion quest on my own and came up with a map showing where these areas are.

It should be noted that your garrison NPCs will gather in two spots - one is outside the garrison at the graveyard (because being outside a fortification during an enemy attack totally makes sense, right?) and the other is by your mine. It takes a few minutes after the action is over for everyone to get the all clear message, head back inside, and get back to doing whatever it was they were doing.

I'm rather curious to know if the garrison invasion/raid portions of the Trading Post Auction House can drop from this. If so, I'd prefer to wait to do this on all of my alts until they have a level two Trading Post. Does anyone have any information in regards to my query?

This is the startup invasion that you get at 91 or 92 when levelling. If you do not do this invasion before 100, it might be mistaken for an actual garrison invasion. So far, the only thing that tells this and Shadowmoon Invasion! apart is the quest ID and specific npc ID (which is hard to check ingame), and that this quest also gives gold.

My strategy won't be for everyone but maybe one or two points might apply to your class. Here's what I've learned after running this scenario on (10) toons...

- Aggro as much as you can handle in the first wave to save your NPCs wear-n-tear (you need them looking good later).

- This a good time to burn a health pot, the cool-down should be up by the next wave.

- Try to save hard-hitting skills for the alert mobs that pop up (a spy, dragon, spellcaster, etc) They're much more resilient. There's a target over their heads...hunt them down

- The second wave is called Endure the Assault or something like that. Tanks may be the only class that can try aggroing the whole lot of them. I tried to get as many on my toons and always had to back off, singling out the ones that were climbing all over me.

- It gets ugly late in this phase; your dead npcs rise up against you, pesky low health mobs are everywhere and there is mayhem. My method was AOE a couple concentrated places, aggro one or two from long range and single out near deaths up close. I always stayed near the court and had to use a health pot at least once.

- The Primordial Horror is the boss in the final wave. He's not nearly as tough as the previous wave. In most cases, I had to blow most of my cool-downs before him. What I did save for him was my Call To Arms buff/spell. He dropped fairly quick.

My lowest toon was item lvl 500 destructo warlock lvl91 and he survived okay. As someone above stated, the reward was yawn but the fight was exciting; it felt like a mini-raid.

Please add your strategy comments or point out whatever I may have missed or got wrong and I'll try to edit it with Kudos.

I did this at L96 in my L2 garrison and only received 9100 exp points.

Doing this at a higher level makes it harder, not easier. Additionally, the experience reward decreases. Don't procrastinate.

Also, you have to do it again if you don't turn it in before you log out. I was saving the xp for later on my xp-capped hunter, but logging out reset the quest. I cannot confirm whether any loading screen or leaving the zone will trigger the reset.

Ask Qiana (bear druid) to go on patrol with you for this. Having a(nother) tank trivializes it . (Heal her if possible.)

If you let the NPCs kill the boss without hitting it, you will not get quest credit and will have to start the invasion over again.
