Now requires to kill the end boss too.
Like with all other Inn quest, to prevent lfd groups to split up after getting the quest item as i think.

This item can only be looted from the heroic version of the instance and all dungeon quests from the Tavern/Inn now require you to kill the last boss in each instance also.

If you are as geared as you can be and/or don't really want to run heroics, you can also complete the dungeon on normal and still get credit for the boss kill required. You then just extend the heroic lockout and run back in on heroic to collect the item.

The last line of this quest text which reads "DESPAIR, FRUIT VENDOR, SO DELICIOUS" is a callback to the quote of "DESPAIR, SO DELICIOUS" during the battle with Falric in Halls of Reflection. The voice acting of this quote was parodied in memes because it sounded like he was saying "Dis pear, so delicious". Only fitting that it's now been brought back with the nemesis of the fruit vendor.

This item/quest can become bugged for A fruitful Proposition quest.

If you have the quest and the head and kill the last boss, the quest will be 'ready to turn-in' if the 1 day timer on the head expires, the quest will remain 'ready to turn-in' how ever you will not be able to. Also, re-running the dungeon to try and loot the head will fail. Though the head may drop again, and other players will be able to loot it, hovering your mouse cursor over the corpse will change it to the loot bag and you can click to your hearts content but no loot window will open. Lastly the head will not be mailed to you like other items you may have missed either.

Still waiting on Blizzard to figure this one. The likely solution is to drop the quest, wait for it to appear in the Inn again, and retry. I have not been advised to do this by Blizzard, simply told to rerun the dungeon, loot the head, kill last boss on heroic, and should be able to turn-in the quest. We'll see what they update this time.... maybe ' Did you click your heels 3x first?'

Where do you hand this in if you replaced your Inn? There is a ? at the fountain but i don't see how to do it?

Just so that you all know, if you manage to get into a group that's already up to the last boss, and as long as they haven't killed all the ogres, you can loot the head off an ogre after the final boss was killed.

This happened to me just now, and was able to hand it in to the NPC which was on the 2nd level of the level 3 inn.
There's also no problem with getting the head if you're the last person left in the instance (if you can kill it by youself of course) :)

I have the quest, got the items and the return mark is on the bonfire in the center of my garrison. The NPC is supposedly from the inn, but I can't find him them.

I've done this instance twice but I don't get a head to drop for me. Is it just RNGesus or is this a bug? Is it a guaranteed drop when you do the dungeon?

Ran this on both heroic and normal and the head did not drop for me.

A Fruitful Proposition

Collect a Giant Ogre Head from the Bloodmaul Slag Mines.

Description

The head of just ONE ogre won't be enough to stop the fruit vendor. No, the fruit vendor is wise, they would not put all of their fruit into one basket.

Bring me the head of ANOTHER ogre! Ha! Then what will the fruit vendor do? Cry onto their bananas as they rot and fall to the ground.
