The bodies are dead bodies, which took me some figuring out due to all of the mobs I had to continuously kill.

If you have difficulties turning in this quest (question mark appears on map but you can't interact with NPC): leave and re-enter the zone, this worked for me.

The Gorgrond Quest chains on here seem to need some consolidation to sort our which are Horde, Alliance &/or both and editing to that effect.

Granted there are 2 separate paths - Lumber Mill or Sparring Arena - through Gorgrond, but a coherent series that is as Faction-specific as possible would be a lot more helpful.

What may not help is if Blizzard have decided to call two Quests (one for each Faction) "exactly" the same thing as that with compound confusion when compiling the Series list like the one above.

I had a problem turning it in on my main. I did all the quests and when I got finished I went to turn in the quest and the NPC wasn't there. I did the quest again on my alt. When I found all the dead bodies I immediately turned in the Mossy Fate quest. I guess she disappears if you go and do all the quests in the area or something.

After running around aimlessly for over an hour looking for the NPC to start this quest line, it finally occurred to me that she is only available if you choose the Lumber Mill as your Gorgrond garrison outpost. If you choose the Sparring Arena, then the quest line is different and you end up with Bony Xuk.

I just could not find this quest as i wanted to start this questline.

I found out by following the guide here on wowhead that what i needed was the quest Rage and Wisdom. Just follow from there and youll end up in the same questline.

I flew around for quite a while trying to find Kaz to start the chain to get her as a follower. Finally found her at 46.58,71.53. She is waiting with Draka, just south of Beastwatch.

I figured it out! The direct prerequisite for this quest is The Razorbloom, which is given by Durotan at Beastwatch after you choose your outpost upgrade.
(Note: I chose the Lumber Mill, so I cannot say if this is also the right quest for people who choose the Sparring Arena.)

Actually the VERY FIRST Quest for this Series is "The Laughing Skull..." (The Laughing Skull)

That would be the opening Quest line for Outpost Building Assembly Notes, and THEN:

Description

Your wolf queen will not let me out of her sight.

The children of the magnaron may have destroyed my village but it was the children of the genesaur who took my people.

The botani and their minions drag our people to the Razorbloom, and if we see them again, it is not as they were in life.

You have already helped the Skulls, so I ask your help again.

Enter the Razorbloom and search for my people that were recently taken.

Perhaps they may even be alive.
