Chests are in the huts around the encampment. Quest item was in one in the hut across the way from Lantresor, had two chests in it, was in the second chest in that hut (the last of six chests looted.)

Found at Hallvalor, Nagrand. Go inside houses and loot chests, can be in any one of them.
Six chests in total (5huts, one of them has 2 in it).

If you have any problems with the quest bugging and chests not appearing anymore or some of them remaining open and stuck just abandon the quest and pick it up again. Had to eventually do that after wasting 10-15 minutes circling around for chests that never respawn.

Lantresor of the Blade says: If you want to know where your important piece of paper is, you'll return with my blade or not at all.

What's he mean by that? There's no piece of paper involved in this quest. Is it a holdover from an earlier build where the blueprints came out of this chain instead of Telaar?

The key to finding the banner definitely seems to be look for the hut with two chest. You don't need coords because you pretty much see all the huts from the door of the hut the Lantresor is in, and you definitely do not need to open at least 5 chest as someone else said.
The first time I received this quest found all five chest but no banner so I abandoned it and went and did other things. Being slightly OCD, I couldn't just not do the quest, it was bugging me; so I went back. The second time, once again all five chest and no flag so I decided to exit the game completely and see if that helped.
When I logged in again and took the quest for a third time, I opened only one chest before finding a hut that had two chests in it. In the previous two attempts, I had not come across a hut with more than one chest and what do you know; the banner was in one of the two.
So, what did we learn? I only opened two chest before finding the banner the third time around, so you don't need to open at least five, and LOOK FOR THE HUT WITH TWO CHESTS lol

Given that a requirement for this quest is "Not Without My Honor" Alliance Fake Chest Quest Kill Credit, I think it's safe to say that you have to loot all 6 chests before you'll find the quest item.

My issue was I forgot the hut to the left of the northern entrance (at about 88. 52) existed. I had looted all the other chests and was really frustrated, but then I saw it, realized, and sure enough, banner. Felt pretty dumb c:

this quest took me 15 minutes. found 6 chests before i got it even had to wait for respawn...

Find the Blademaster's Banner in a Burning Blade Locker.

	"Not Without My Honor" Alliance Fake Chest Quest Kill Credit slain (5)

Description

The blade is not the only important item a blademaster carries.

Once he has passed his final tests in the Masters' Caverns, the blademaster is given the honor of wearing the Burning Blade's banner.

When my petition to reclaim my rightful place with the clan fell upon deaf and craven ears, I was stripped of that honor.

No doubt, my banner has been stored away somewhere in Hallvalor. They'll give it to some other aspiring blademaster if they don't burn it first.
