The Kun-Pai Ritual Charms hang from the trees - the are long red ropes with a ring on the end. They will be sparkling. There are often more than one per tree. There are in two areas, one to the north and one to the south of the quest giver, and also there are a few in the immediate are around the quest giver.

Make sure and pick up the quest "Unwelcome Nature" because you will be killing the scamps while you are collecting the ritual charms. Note in the posting for Unwelcome Nature, that the Thornbranch Scamp summons two additional skamps (31 health) when the scamp reaches one third health.
