Do this in conjunction with The Power of Malorne. If you hang out near 36.6, 57.6, you can snipe at the fire beings and the spirits will run right past you. You'll snag all the spirits without having to raise a finger.

The quest text corresponds to the Matrix theme as well: destroy these invaders.

You are credited any kills where you have done some damage, even if it's the opposite faction doing the killing, and even after death.

So tag them with a dot, or get in at least one hit on the mob if you see someone else killing these. Even in death, if you provoke the opposite faction, will you get credited ;)

Kill any 9 invaders from the Firelands in the Regrowth or Sethria's Roost.

Description

Of all of our tasks here in Hyjal, the most pressing is simple: destroy these invaders. The very nature of fire is that it is all-consuming. Lower your defense for just a moment and it will destroy everything in sight.

Kill any of the fiery invaders you find. Every enemy defeated purchases more time for Hyjal.
