If you have The Sands/Dunes Of Silithus then this quest is not available...

Note, The Sands/Dunes Of Silithus quest is worth a lot more rep/XP than the Warchief's Command/Hero's Call quest. Since its mutually exclusive, you're better off going with this one. Additionally, since this quest is a continent closer to the zone this gets turned-in in, you should be able to pick this up on your way to the zone.

This quest should be taken out of the game. I picked it up in Darnassus and was like "never done this zone" before, so I took the boat to Stormwind, the tram to Ironforge, the boat the Theramore, swam across Thousand Needles, hoofed it over Tanaris and Un'goro, and then when I finally arrive....the zone is terrible!

There are only about 20 quests here and then the main chain ends abruptly and you get the message "you are not eligible for this quest" and that's the end of the zone.

To add insult to injury, the next thing you do is take a portal to Blasted Lands where the first thing the NPC says to you on arrival is "Silithus not so great, eh? We get a lot like you."

If the zone doesn't get an update, why send people there only to port them to a better zone on the other side of the world.

Actually, you can complete this quest and the The Sands of Silithus or The Dunes of Silithus. You can not have both quests in your log at the same time, but if you complete the Warchief's Command quest first, you can then go pick up The Sands of Silithus or The Dunes of Silithus.

This is the last Hero's Call for Kalimdor till level 80 when you get the one for Mt Hyjal.
