Argus Highbeacon says: Ahem! I, ah, appreciate the ride, Madam Fiona. It's nice to get off my feet for once.
Fiona says: Do you normally walk these roads alone?
Argus Highbeacon says: Yes, I do, though it was easier when I was younger. These days, I have to be more careful.
Gidwin Goldbraids says: If you don't mind my askin', what do you do that requires walking so much?
Argus Highbeacon says: I service the five Argent towers. Mostly repairs and maintenance, and some minor magical work.
Argus Highbeacon says: Without proper upkeep, buildings within the plaguelands tend to... waste away.
Tarenar Sunstrike says: Noble work.
Argus Highbeacon says: I find it satisfying. I enjoy working with my hands.

I bumped in to an issue yesterday doing this quest. I had done all quests except battle for darrowshire in Crown Guard Tower and was ready to move on. When I clicked on the caravan to move on both it and Fiona despawned and wouldn't come back even though I waited around. I tried looking for it at the next tower but it wasn't there either. Finally I tried relogging and that brought it back.

There was also a similar issue that my girlfriend ran into, she jumped on the caravan and after a little bit she got thrown off and the caravan despawned. Tried the same things as me and it was just gone. Relogging solved that issue as well.

I'm not sure why, but while attempting to do this quest, the second the caravan left the front of Crown Guard Tower, i was promptly swarmed and ganked by about 200 Mossflayer Abducters ....I'm thinking its bugged.

How old are Gidwin and Tarenar? Sometimes they sound like a couple of 12 year olds :D That's good though, makes the quests funnier and worth doing

Ok.. I had to round up the two paladins, do their subquests, ride the caravan to the first tower, go get Argus (and did his Rough Roads quest), before this quest was offered.

I'm leveling on my rogue now and I'm in the Western Plaguelands, just finished all the quests there in Crown Guard Tower, Fiona give me the quest "The trek continues" and when I want to jump in the caravan, I get completion for Argus' Journal. Everytime I want to jump on it, I get completion for that quest and then at some point I got "Eastern Plaguelands quests" achievement.

totally bugged at this point.

I must have hit a bug as I cannot board the caravan at the Crown Guard Tower. I complete the quest 'Pamela's Doll' and the caravan screen flashes briefly and then goes back to the screen that lets me complete the doll quest. I have tried logging out, leaving the Plaguelands, etc. I guess I will jsut wait and see if I can do it later.

This quest unlocks Argent Crusade and rewards 200 reputation, getting you to 200/3000 neutral with Argent Crusade. Make sure to do this before the Argent tournament.

If this appears to be stuck, make sure you did #8 in the chain: Traveling Companions. It is possible to get all the way here (12 quests later) and not realize that you didn't do a critical story quest.
