Note that you can do this very short and easy quest chain without having done any other quests in the zone before getting here. The only prereqs are the two quests that Thargad offers when you first meet him, Infernal Encroachment and Portals of the Legion.

That's 15 minutes work for some very nice blue rewards.

Brendol is a silly bl==dy STEALTHED guy, exactly where yer mini-map tells yer he should be! Thanx fer the hint, one of you earlier posters!
(I am L85 doing Loremaster .... if you are too,he may be difficult to see, lurking there on that grassy slope).

He is pretty hard to see, I saw the comment bout him being slope so went towards the hill and still couldn't find him since I'm 85 doing loremaster he wouldn't just attack me. A person in my guild actually got an achivement while I was looking and when clicking it to compare my progress I caught the lil bugger moving right beside the achivement box lol.

As a hunter you can activate Track Hidden also.

For non hunters, trackers ect...and those who are above the aggro level, try repeatedly pressing Tab as you run around the area. Yes he is hard to spot. He is partially stealthed, so you won't hear that stealthing sound as if you were to approach something that is hidden.

This is the very essence of a poorly-designed quest.

I've been leveling a loremaster, toggling experience gain on and off to keep myself near quest levels, and not using any maps or quest tracking at all. 780 quests in, and this is the first one that sent me to the quest tracker / Wowhead. I suppose I could have been a little more persistent in walking around the larger vicinity of the quest-giver ("around these parts" being the only location clue). Probably should have spent more time walking my toon in circles nearby instead of all over Desolace.

Oh well, I wanted a more immersive experience and quests to be harder, so after an evening spent running around Desolace with nothing to show, I guess I got more than I bargained for.

as mention above, just stand at location 29, 82 you will able to see him.

Just tab a lot around the area, you will find him eventually.

He is alive and stealthed! (Not just a dead body like the pics show). /tar Brendol, and mark him with a skull when you get his portrait.

Description

I'm too busy collectin' artifacts to busy myself with much else, but there is a bit of an issue here I wouldn't mind sortin' out.

There's a forsaken apothecary who's been pokin' around these parts for a while now. Normally, I'd ignore him, but three times now he's snuck into my camp and pilfered my supplies.... enough's enough!

Find the thief and bring me whatever's left o' my things!
