When you see the towers, approach from the right, and turn the power up to ~50 depending on your distance and just start launching away.

Currently on the beta, Venomspite is a bit bugged. The vehicles you're meant to use to do this quest don't spawn. The quest can still be completed if you want it to feel a bit Nesingwary-esque. They are the same as normal mobs, hp and damage-wise, but respawn faster and give no experience or loot. You still get quest credit for killing them by hand.

Part of the Horde questline for the Wrath Gate event. This quest line is very long and spans the entire length of Dragonblight. Quite honestly, I consider this one of the most important quest lines (thus far) in Wrath. A must-do for any hordeling. :)

In quite a few of these chains there are optional prequests. I will not list these, despite them being in the quest series list, because they are just that: Optional. I will list the LATEST quest available that will start the chain, or the one most likely to pick up while completing other parts of this chain.

Additionally, these quests are Horde Only. I, unfortunately, do not have an Alliance character on the Beta, so I do not have access to any alliance quests. Sorry!

Step names are purely flavor. They generalize what that part of the chain leads up to/is about.

I highly urge everyone to read the quest text. This quest line is quite possibly one of the most epic in Warcraft history and is highly worth the time. Lore lovers and haters alike should enjoy them.

Ok, there is some confusion obviously on where the tanks are. You get them outside the east entrance of Venomspite, the town you get the quest in. There are a bunch of them lined up as you walk out of the building you get the quest in. From that building turn right to the "East Gate" and hop on one. The quest text is very vague and made me think it was the East Gate of Old Wintergarde I needed to get it from. Also, what you need to ride are NOT the Plague Wagons in the Carrion Fields. Pretty much what you need to do from there is drive straight for a bit until you get to a gate with A LOT of Scourge. That is where you use your bomb. Fast and easy and the quest skript needs to be improved IMO.

Best thing to do in this quest is to fire at the gates between the two towers and drive in between them to lure mobs into the cloud.

All I can say is bravo Blizzard. This quest chain is like the Christmas present we were always expecting but never received, until now. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST for anyone who plays this game.

This quest was bugged when I tried it.

The bomb would not explode on the ground (to create the cloud), so I had to fire it at the tower to explode and lure the mobs into the cloud.

In other words, the ground and bomb don't interact.

I found that an effective way to do this quest was to fire a short ranged shot then drive on top of where you just shot. They will aggro to you and kill themselves. Just rinse, repeat, and you will be done in no time at all. I did it at the gates given with the coords on the first post

The Forsaken Blight Spreader's are at the east gate of Venomspite. Don't make the mistake of walking down the road thinking they are to the east at a gate.

I agree that it's a fun quest but it could be better. My biggest problem was that I happened to agro a couple of mobs and died because the thing only has one attack and they attack you not the spreader. It needs to have another attack or you need to be able to get out and back in.

The best way I found of doing this quest is to go to 85,56 and there are tons of undead that run thorugh a little arch in a fence. If you park the Blight Spreader just infront of the gate you can get the aiming reticule on the arch. You will aggro most of the undead in the area and when you fire at the arch everyone attacking you will be hit, and you will kill 30 VERY quickly.

I think this quest may have been bugged when i tried to do it, because no matter what i did i could not kill anything. After a half hour of frustration and determination to figure this out i learned that i had to be IN COMBAT in order for this to work. Although this made absolutely ZERO sense to me... it worked every time.
Now if you found the above information useful... which i hope someone does because as i said before i wasted a half hour on this quest... then a good strategy is to charge in aggro as many as you can and fire a short range shot in front of you and drive into it, effectively killing all the ghouls that followed you.

You can complete this quest by killing those 30 mobs by yourself. No vehicles needed, just run over to the place and start taking them on. Beware, the Argent Camp overlooking the place has archers and if they kill the mob you're on, you will not get credit for it.

Comfirmed that you need to log out if you're having trouble with this. Worked for me (I did it while I was mounted on the bomber, dont know if you have to be that).

"The twin towers" and the Hungering Dead are located at 85,55.

I accidently exited the vehicle, so I decided to see if killing them regularly gives credit - it does. Got the 30 kills in 2 pulls of AOE on my frost mage

So the name of the quest is "Spread the Good Word," a term that implies spreading one's beliefs. The quest involved commandeering a vehicle, going to "the twin towers," and bombing the area.

Am I the only person who sees a connection to a certain real-world event here?

What I did was get on the forsaken blight spreader and goto 85/56. start bombing and keep going towards the scrourge. once at the bridge, there was ALOT of hungering undead. You do need to be IN BATTLE in order to get credit for any kills, so by starting to bomb them BEFORE you get to the bridge causes the aggro. Then I kept going back and forth from 85/56 and the bridge bombing away.

One important thing to note is the scourge hit you, not your vehicle. The first time around I was paying attention to my vehicle's health bar and didn't realize they were hitting (and killing) me. So pay attention to your health!

I've just completed this quest in 3 minutes with no aggro

Go to 85,57 which is where the path to the bridge starts - there's a signpost to your left.

Just stand here, angle your bombs to hit the mobs on the left and right and you're done

Those of you using Bartender4 (or any other bar addon) can make a macro with:

/cast Blight Bomb

and in your Keybindings, under Vehicle, set 'Aim Up' and 'Aim Down' to whatever keys you wish. No need to disable any addons.

The best spot for me was to aim my bombs so they hit just before the bridge starts at 85,54.
That's the mobs' spawnpoint and one bomb (with fumes) will easily take out 20 mobs at once. Shoot twice there and you're done!

While doing this quest, don't forget to pick up The Call Of The Crusade from Tilda Darathan. Note that it's only available when you haven't completed The Cleansing Of Jintha'kalar yet, nor have it in your quest log.

Blight Bomb kills you in a second. Don't know how was it before scaling, but now it is deadly to you as well.

Be careful as you can kill yourself easily by walking into the green clouds from your own blight launcher.

Upon picking up this quest and obtaining access to the blight bomber vehicle, it can be used to kill both friendly and enemy NPCs/Players. The vehicle has no distance limit, only a 15 minute duration. I've seen some players travel all the way to Agmar's Hammer to troll players by killing them and their quest givers.

Side Note: The recap after death does not give the name of the player commandeering the vehicle, only the name of the vehicle itself.

Complete February 2022, to be honest, easiest thing with a levelling warrior fully heirloomed was to aoe them without the vehicle.

Chief Plaguebringer Middleton at Venomspite in Dragonblight wants you to use the Forsaken Blight Spreader's Blight Bomb to destroy 30 Hungering Dead on the outskirts of the Carrion Fields.

Description

Before I can ship you off to Doctor Malefious with the good news, you will have to run a simple field test of the blight with the modifications I have made.

The hungering dead stream out from what remains of Old Wintergarde. Commandeer a vehicle from the east gate and drive it northeast through Vengeance Pass until you reach the twin towers at the southeastern edge of Wintergarde. Drop the blight bomb on the undead that cover the area. Report back to me with the results!
