Entrance of the tower - (tloc 73,36) Head upstairs and touch the orb to teleport to the top of tower.
Sharth Voldoun - top of tower (tloc 73,35). He has roughly about 10k hp (lvl 65). I soloed him with my fire mage at lvl 63.

The Mana Bomb is located at 71, 37 in the middle of the courtyard with all the Warlocks surrounding it. You only need to kill enough locks to get access to the bomb.

BTW do not die fighting him or you have to take rez sickness, being that u cant transport to the orb while dead. I learned this the hard way

You CAN actually get back up if you happen to die up there...i just simply made my way to the 1sst orb and got automatically teleported back up half way and i was able to res there without any problems :) maybe that was just my luck.

All of the above is spot on ta for the tips...soloed as a 64 human warrior and he isn't that easy to beat...he heals himself and does a shit load of damage to be honest.........but nothing a healing potion couldn't barely get me through though ;)

`Firewing poin the tower is ne on the radar it looks orange
go to the top juse the orb and go higher and kill the 65 mob then orb down and kill the warlocks and use the mana bomb with then final code

SOLOED as lv 62 hunter pretty easy keep him aggroed on your pet and just emnd him if you pet is nearly to die just make your opet to stop attack freeze him a heal your pet and continue. IF U RAE NOT A BAD NOOB THEN IT IS EASY....

Level 63 Warlock solo. He's immune to fear effects and he'll cast Holy Light when he gets below about 50% HP. Just keep DoTs up and use Death Coil to heal yourself when you get too low. I finished with a good amount of mana (Dark Pact) and about 1.3k HP.

Started to solo this as a 64 feral druid, when a troll mage showed up. When I saved his neck, the two of us made our way to the top of the tower and gave the guy a royal beatdown. However, he does an enormous amount of damage with his spells. I had 9k HP in bear mode, we killed him in about 20 seconds, and in that time he had cut me down to about a third of my HP. He isn't as easy as you might think.

But watching the mana bomb go off is worth it XD

Worked my way up to the top and started the fight, and suddenly when i did get him on like 20% hp a horde turned up, luckily he was peacefull and helped me with the mob, easy soloed but thanks to him anyway :) I decided to wait to help him too :D

Just finished this chain, 65 prot pally, solo. Mobs up to the top of tower were cake, Sharth, was not. Does Holy Light heals, had to pull out all the stops. If you wait on the spiral for a bit, you'll catch a little word play with Sharth's boss, they talk about the construction of the Mana bomb.

I wasn't patient enough, so I just used my mount to run to the mana bomb, then popped Divine Shield, and activated the "Final Code". Shield lasted a few more seconds than the code activation takes. Died, Objective complete :-P

This boss was very annoying for me...
I'm a 63 feral druid, went cat form, got him to 20% and my self at 40%, so didnt though to go healing.. well, i died got him to 3% then he healed, and killed me. so second time i went bear at 50, stunned his heal, went back in cat to finish the job, when he healed again, i went out and healed my self, and back in cat, and then simple out dps him.

Note Kill the guard on the way up, else you'll end up fighting him too.
sitenode, Main dont stun him, but bash do.

ohh and clear around the stone, you cant ninja it... "corpse running atm"

When you use The Final Code, it destroys the code. If for some reason you use the item, but it does not activate the bomb (I moved as the cast bar was finishing) you will have to climb the tower and kill Sharth again.

i was able to solo him as a 62 frost mage,easy kill counterspell the heal,but yes he does hit hard,killed my elemental in a matter of hits

Kinda funny stroy about this one.

I was going to start the pre-req to this when a 70 came along to run througha guildie and invited me to the party. We went through it and I had looted The Final Code, but the 70 was the one who activated the Mana Bomb.

A couple days later a guildie of mine asked for help to get the code. I still had the Code in my pack (though I had completed the quest already) so we just moseyd over and I used my Code, bomb went off, and she got credit.

I never ran into this before. Kinda cool.

This is one of those "Trick" quests. if your looking to quest I honestly suggest you skip this one, you will get more exp doing other quests then you will wasting your time trying to do this one. And don't be fooled, getting the code is the easy part, it's getting past the solid wall of warlock to get to the bomb which is impossible.

top coordinates are correct...soloed sharth as 64 destro lock...was actually harder to get to the bomb. sharth hits hard but keep up dots and hammered him with shadow bolt, went down in about 1 min. i did curse him with recklessness to weaken his armr. the guy above is wrong....when i turned in the quest i got 12500exp...then led to telling tarvgin near thicket for a peice of socketable(my first) which was just a turn in for the armor and another 13500exp...was well worht the fights!!!!

This was rather hard for me. I kept running out of mana, and he kept healing himself. I was a resto druid when i did this, so yeah. it was difficult. But i had one of my friends help me out. Cause i died from one of his little buddies =P

I got killed at the top, so I ran back to port up.
It says: You cannot do that while dead.

Word of advice- I know no one else is this stupid, but all the same, hear my tale, and be warned.

I climbed my way up the tower, and managed to, after an epic fight, drop the boss (fellow Priests- Mana Burn him til he cries!). I had taken so long up there that I knew for sure that there had been respawn below, and I really didn't feel like dealing with it. So I hit levitation, and jumped out the back way, to avoid landing on any mobs. Yeah, that gave me a good 30 seconds to contemplate how idiotic that was as I drifted very slowly into the abyss and died. Don't do that.

After you kill him and go back down, go back into the tower (i think) and free the druid if she is there,and pick up the escort quest to get her back to the Allerian Stronghold.Then when u go through courtyard and she is fighting mobs,blow up the bomb. (i haven't tried this for long time so don't sue me if this doesn't work).

Heres what happened to me, got the code as a 66 lock with a felguard. Got to the bomb area, blew everything away on the outside of one half including anything coming down the ramp just in case (except the four directly surrounding the bomb).
Sent my FG to one of the four in the middle he pulled that one away...i run in...use the code and sure enough i get interuped and have to fight...my fel is dead on the second lock ( even with "tap" going) and get bombarded with two and a half locks pounding on me.....my question is ...whats the trick to kill all four? Died three times...health stone..soul stone...didnt help at all. I gave up....gonna go back after 3-4 levels.

Sharth was extremely easy as a Fury Warrior, I simply did this, Changed to Battle Stance, Used Charge, Swapped to Berserker Stance, Blood Thirst, Heroic Strike, he started healing so I spun around quickly with my mouse and proceeded to "Intercept" him. After the stun was over he went right back into healing himself so I used Pummel followed by a BT, HS, Execute which killed him. I ended the fight with 80% of my HP left.

The warlocks in the middle as a Fury Warrior are laughable, attack one of the sides, aggro the middle and then kill one of them with only two of the middle Warlocks attacking you. Then it's all about spamming the Victory Rush, Blood Thirst and Heroic Strike, doing this I cleared out every single lock without falling below 75% HP.

PS: Warrior was level 63 Fury Warrior, Questing Greens / Blues with a Weapon from back when I was in the mid 50's, this quest is stupidly easy.

I recently tried to complete this quest, but it seems obsolete, I get the code from Voldoun and then go down and kill all the adds around the bomb, i set the bomb off, (count down and everything), and when the bomb goes off, it doesn't give me credit for it and says i have to blow the bomb up.

I have abandoned and re-done this quest three times, anyone have any idea?

Confirmed mcDuffy1904's edit - If you go back to the Stronghold and talk to the quest giver - the quest is grayed out as though incomplete - BUT can actually click on the quest - and you will be able to complete it.

Just finished completing this quest. I had the same issue where the *objective* was complete but in my log it did not say quest complete. I just went to Allerian Stronghold and was able to turn it in without any issues.

11.828hp and he heal's himself but i beat him with my human warrior lvl 63 and he's lvl 65 its quite an easy fight.

For supposedly highly trained and sophisticated blood elves, they sure stand there like lemmings when the bomb is counting down.

You think the next step after "Oh no!" "No!" "The mana bomb!" is to run like hell instead of staring at it like a deer caught in a headlight. Heh.

What a pain in the ass! Killed the guy, got the final code, went down and killed all the warlocks around the bomb -- and NOTHING! Final code does nothing -- kept at it till all the surounding warlocks started to res, so I got out of there fast.

1. The Final Code
• Accept the quest, The Final Code, from Lieutenant Meridian at coords 69.6, 44.0 (Allerian Post).
• Travel to the top of the tower, at Firewing Point, to coords 73.9, 35.8.
• Kill Sharth Voldoun, and loot the The Final Code from his corpse.
• Travel southwest to coords 71.3, 37.4.
• Click on the Mana Bomb to activate it.
• Travel southwest, to the Allerian Stronghold, to coords 57.0, 53.4.
• Turn in the quest to Jenai Starwhisper.

I was hoping someone else had encountered this "problem", but I couldn't teleport to the top of the tower. I was going to just fly up, but then I decided to do it oldschool.

I took the first teleport, and it put me up one level. Great. I ran up to the second and it teleported me up one more level. I killed my way out and up to the third teleporter, which is outside the first building. Clicking it teleported me back down inside the building on the lowest floor. I tried three times, and each time, the teleporter at the top of the first building would teleport me back down to the ground. Am I missing something here?

The Final Code

Lieutenant Meridian wants you to use The Final Code to set off the Mana Bomb. Then report back to Jenai Starwhisper at the Allerian Stronghold in Terokkar Forest.

Description

They're building a second mana bomb in the courtyard. My intel suggests that the final code for the bomb is being held by Sharth Voldoun, the overseer of the project at Firewing Point.

<name>, you have to go back in there and retrieve the final code from him. He keeps himself to the top of the highest spire.

Take the final code to the mana bomb that they're working on in the central courtyard and set it off.

Only then will we be certain that the Allerian Stronghold is safe.
