1. Speak with Private Weeks
• Accept the quest, Speak with Private Weeks, from Lieutenant Gravelhammer at coords 57.4, 55.6 (Allerian Stronghold).
• Travel northwest, to Grangol'var Village, at coords 40.4, 36.0.
• Turn in the quest to Private Weeks.

You have to get this quest from Lieutenant GavelHammer at Allerian Stronghold (he's inside the inn/town hall like building). He will give you "Speak with Private Weeks" with no pre-requisite quests required, but if you went directly to Private Weeks before the quest giver...no go. Private Weeks won't offer any quests himself until you are sent to him.

Description

A report's just come in from one of our scouts near Grangol'var Village. He says that a shadowy band has moved into the ruins there.

<name>, I want you to speak with Private Weeks and see how you can assist him to figure out what this unknown group is up to. Just head west past Stonebreaker Hold. His last report puts his position near the north entrance to the village.
