Please check your facts before posting them. Gorefist is not in the cave. Once you cross the bridge, take a right and go up and turn left to see a hut. The boss is in the hut guarded by two maulers. Lots of maulers and souleaters around. They also drop mushroom boxes for another quest.

I just want to note to everyone that the Souleaters are actually a bit tougher to get. There are only four or five spawned in on the island at once, four up on top of the island, and one random pat near the bridge, this means a lot of waiting around for respawns to get all 10 kills :-\

considering that the mob respawn is quite a advanced piece of engineering from blizz you cannot say that one mob spawns more often than another. AS they infact spawn totally the same amount per day

I found there are many more Maulers than Souleaters so you have to go searching for the souleaters. = )
Soloed very easilly on 64 Hunter. Bye

Just got this quest early this morning and felt i should warn about a lvl 64 elite inside the cave at the very end of it. He can duplicate himself and hes a mage, so, if you arent careful, you can get killed.

On top of the island, there seems to be a ring of souleaters round the outside, if you're having trouble finding them.

Kill Overlord Gorefist, 10 Ango'rosh Maulers, and 10 Ango'rosh Souleaters and report back to Shadow Hunter Denjai in Zabra'jin.

Description

In order to end the Ango'rosh threat, we must kill their leader, Overlord Gorefist. We'll do better than that, though. We'll make an example of the overlord and his followers.

Go to the Ango'rosh Stronghold and deal with our foes. The stronghold is located in a cave on a small island to the northwest of Zabra'jin. You'll see a bridge made from a fallen mushroom beyond the Ango'rosh Camp.

Show no mercy, <name>. They certainly wouldn't spare any of us.
