Coords correct. They're all over the inner parts of The Dead Mire, entrance at 80,53.

Enter Dead Mire in the northeast part of Zangermarsh and you are there. The Withering Giants are all along the edge. :D
If you are currently on the Gathering the Reagents quest; you can go to 77,45 in Dead Mire and kill Sporewing each time he spawns for a Spore Bat Eye. I had gotten a 75% droprate. Doubletasking is fun.

Go to 80,38 by the demolished little bridge. Almost no adds and the re-spawn rate is slow enough to keep you from getting ganked while resting, eating or eating. I also was able to pick up a Withered Basidium that started a turn-in quest for a super easy 10,500 exp. All told, 21,000 exp, 2g40s 250 Exodar rep and a resale of 2g14s for the Vindicator's Cinch made this an awesome quest.

1. An Unnatural Drought
• Accept the quest, An Unnatural Drought, from Vindicator Idaar at coords 68.2, 50.0 (Telredor).
• Travel northeast, to the Dead Mire, to the area of coords 81, 42.
• Locate and kill 12 Withered Giant.
• When killing Withered Giant, save any Bog Lord Tendril you loot for the quest, Natural Enemies.
• Travel southwest, back to Telredor, to coords 68.2, 50.0.
• Turn in the quest to Vindicator Idaar.

You can't do JUST this quest line to complete the Telredor Chapter of Zangarmarsh. You have to do almost all the questlines of Telredor to complete the chapter :(

I had to complete The Dead Mire which is also from Vindicator Idaar before I could accept this quest from Vindicator Idaar.

Vindicator Idaar at Telredor wants you to kill 12 Withered Giants.

Description

The soil sample you brought me is nearly devoid of moisture, <name>. If the soil itself is losing moisture, then the creatures that live in the Dead Mire must be suffering terribly.

I've seen what happens when the region's fungal giants begin to wither and die. The pain drives them mad, causing them to attack anything in their path.

These creatures have no idea what's happening to them. They're beyond our ability to save, so the best we can do is to end their suffering.
