...is threads of destiny supposed to play there? I don't see how the conclusion "That thing... is Neferess" follows from that video, did they mess up another cutscene situation?

Hmm, what's this over here? It's a dangerously unstable formulation. Intriguing. What's this over here? Oh, it's an experiment that dates back to Neferess's reign. And this? Oh, this is a 5 minute cut scene!

(maybe it's just me, but this felt more than a little out of place)

air duct: /way 62.15, 77.40 Air duct.
after clicking the air duct, screen went black and y'tekhl the severed threads quartermaster shows up.
Click on caustic chemicals, then experiment notes
took the excape line and whoops forgot the discareded shadecaster on the ground by the back wall.
/way 62.62, 79.80 shadecaster,
the line is to the left of it.
the cutscne was black :(

You know that's something is wrong with the quest's in-game cinematic the moment you see the "Blizzard Entertainment Presents" line.
Like, this is extremely odd and immersion-breaking thing to show right in the middle of a story campaign.

But not only that - it even ENDS WITH A WOW LOGO (I swear, I was half-expecting to see a freaking release date).

And then - completely out of the blue - an accompanying NPC somehow comes up with a plot twist that never even implied in the cinematic.

It's obvious that there should've been an entirely different scene. Fast forward to Oct, 3rd and it's still not fixed.

Description

We've got a new objective: Figure out what Ansurek's plans are for this... thing. We'll find our answers inside the laboratory of the Grand Splicer. I'd bet my blades on it. I scouted a maintenance hatch on the roof that you can grapple up to. Y'tekhi brewed up some weird concoction that they claim will get us the proper clearance once inside. Yuck. Meet you in there.
