This is the third quest of eight, in an optional quest chain you can do, that will lead you to the new Mythic dungeon called Dawn of the Infinate. By optional, I mean you don't actually have to do it to start running Mythics inside it. However, if you would like a little bit of lore, you can begin this quest chain by flying to the top of the Seat of the Aspects, in Valdrakken, and speak to Nozdormu .

You likely picked up this quest at the same time you grabbed Align in the Sand, and did them together. If you go to the completion ? for this one you find nothing, but if you highlight Align in the Sand it'll take you to Chromie who has them both.

Turn in is located at another "copy" of Chromie on a rocky ledge at
/way 61 80

I found this quest really confusing, as I was looking in the middle of the silver search area and found only lizards. Then, up on the platforms, there was a Horde killing some Time-Lost, but when I tried it alone, no luck at all. However, there is a small valley off to the south west with an enormous waterfall and there are all the Time-Lost you need.

Description

I need you to fetch me some time-lost essence. The creatures around here are filled to the brim with the stuff. Snuff them out and then use this epoch extractor to collect their essence. We'll make good use of it for our next step! And yes, this is going to be a multi-step process. You know how crazy these time shenanigans get!
