- Take the portal to The Primalist Future in front of quest giver.
- Time-Blasted Trufflettes are very small neutral NPCs in the area that you have to click on who will then start running away.
- I strongly suggest using the Interact keyboard shortcut to save your sanity: Options > Controls > Enable Interact Key.

Here are some of the places I found them but it might be random:

These guys are so hard to click after they start running around. The best way I found is to double-click them before they start running.

You can move while capturing the mushrooms to keep them in range. You don't have to stand still.

Thanks for the co ords ... but I also noticed that a yellow dot appears on the minimap. Also If you let the funghi run around a little bit you will notice that they have 1 area where they stay quite a bit. stand in that area and click and it should be enough time to capture it.

Suggested Players , but easily soloable, and I was not getting credit for a party member grabbing them.

If you stand close and quickly click the Trufflette twice, you can capture it without having to chase it.

You can grab the initial quest from Rumiastrasza at coords 61,10 in the Ruby Enclave, Valdrakken. She will direct you to the Temporal Conflux, in Thaldraszus at 59.82. Once you arrive and finish the quest, accept the new one, that will inform you to pick 7 Time-Blasted Trufflette.

First, you'll want to take the Portal to the Primalist Future. Inside the portal, you'll see some yellow dots over the mini map that you can interact with, these are called Time-Blasted Trufflette, and you need a total of 7. You'll have to interact with Time-Blasted Trufflette once, and then, they'll start moving and it will get harder to pick them, but an alternate easy way could be to be near them, and then just double-click them, the first click will activate the interaction and the second the "grab action", you'll see them moving, but the cast is already done :)

When done, take then Portal to Temporal Conflux and make your way to Rumiastrasza to finish the quest.

If you fly around the quest area, they will show up on your minimap. Found that to be easier than to look for these small black shrooms, yellow nameplates. Double clicking them is the best way.

blizz, why you make this a group quest but it doesnt give credit to the group when you do it? you basically team up to compete with each other?

Since the nested comment is easy to miss:

> Bind an 'Interact With Target' key and just double-click the keybind. You'll catch the mushrooms as soon as they pop out of the ground.

This makes it super easy.

This is certainly soloable. The trick is not to run around like a fool. Click the critter once to get it moving, but then stand in one spot and let it run back to you. Might take a couple of clicks but it can be done. Running around is the worst thing you can do.

Don't bother chasing them. Use the interact key instead. I set mine to "F" for "F this quest."

Used a macro /tar Time-Lost Fungi (my /tar find stuff key is bound to my Z key and I just re-edit for what I'm looking for) then spammed the key while running around avoiding mobs. You'll see the fungi targeted and there are quite a few around. When you get to the little black orange glow fungi in the snow, stand over it and spam click your pick up stuff button - right mouse key for me - and most of the time you'll pick it up straight away (it does have a slight timer for pickup, so you might miss the odd one, in which case stay in the spot and let it run to you, or move on, find another :)

Did this quest in about five minutes. My trick was to double click the mushrooms, so I generally had a 50% chance of getting them before they began moving. If they started moving before I collected them, I'd just give up and move to the next one.

Whoever created this quest needs to have their quest design rights removed forever and then be forced to do this quest for eternity.

For anyone that is having an issue collecting this quest due to Warden Captain Sinjoirmi phasing out of existence;

You must do the questlines in the Temporal Conflux area up to Tumbling Through Time which begins with Nozdormu once Chromie and Eternus disappear after colliding.

At this point Sinjoirmi will appear and will no longer phase out on approach.

I just wanted to pass this along as I couldn't collect the quest until this point because every time I approached the platform, Sinjoirmi would phase out and could not be found. I had contacted support and they said that this is an issue that they are trying to fix and offered numerous possible fixes that didn't work (Turning on/off war mode, jumping realms etc.). But they couldn't give me any other way of doing getting this quest and could only say that the bug team was working on it and it will hopefully be fixed in the future.

So, take out the half hour to 45 minutes to do the quests to get to Tumbling Through Time and you shouldn't have anymore issues picking up Future-Fresh Fungi.

I had trouble figuring out why I could not get the quest from the quest giver.
Checked through ATT and realized I had abandoned the quests from Lilial Dawnburst "Warm Away These Shivers" which is the quest prior to this.

An easier way I found to click the mushrooms was by binding the interact key, running around and spamming it until I got one, got all in less than 3 minutes this way.

Description

A delicious mushroom? Alternate futures are not pantries to be raided for midmorning snacks. But still... I would be lying if I said I had never dreamed of eating Rumi and Morsel's cooking again. Very well! You have my permission to pass through the portal, though I advise you to find others to travel with. My wardens have mentioned these dark mushrooms to me before. Apparently, they never stay in the same place for very long. Make of that what you will.
