I tried for a long time to figure out how to do this quest. There's an action button that appears when you get close to the crystal. For me, it appeared right on top of my action bar and it blended in really well with the icons. I'm used to these kinds of buttons being in the middle of the screen.

Hi all

I present You Storyline Time Management. This Storyline is part of Just Don't Ask Me to Spell It which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Storyline in order I done it:

1. The Flow of Time - See Chromie 57.46 78.90
2. Temporal Difficulties - Go to 54.96 75.66
3. Haven't Got Time For the Pain - Get 2 items: Timewalker Notes 53.2 77.3 then Slay Crazed Alpha in cave 52.9 76.8 and pick up in cave Timewalker Staff is on ground.
4a. Time is Running Out - Pick Up 8 Temporal Collector, is a crystals big on ground around.
4b. Time in a Bottle - Kill mobs and collect orbs to get energy until 100%
6. Feels Like the First Time - Follow NPC then speak with him then press on crystals and you will be teleported. after conversation enter orange portal. Then follow back NPC.
7a. Times Like These - Loot 100 Temporal Residue from animals.
7b. If We Could Turn Back Time - First press on Time Rift 58.6 78.2 then go to Siaszerathel 59.8 79.3 then close 2nd Time Rift then go close next Time Rift 59.9 77.2 and speak with Aeonormu He will come from portal.
9. Closing Time - Get 100% by using extra bar on enemy, closing portals or picking up Time-Lost Amulet.
10. Catching Up to Chromie - Fly to 59.6 81.6 on platform.
11a. Time-Locked Timewalkers - Free 8 Timewalkers from Time Bubbles. Timewalkers are in Orange Bubbles use on them eztra button spell
11b. Cracks in Time - Go to west and ease crystals press on them then pull out. Crystals break into small pieces pick them up to 100.
11c. Quelling Causalities - Kill mobs until 100%
14. The Once and Future Team - Go 60.61 83.39 use extra bar and pull barier. Then slay Colossal Causality.
15. The Never-Final Countdown - Speak with Chromie Movie will start. Finishing this quest will finish storyline.

When doing this quest, pay good attention everytime you free a timewalker. The things they say when released are hilarious!

Anyone else found that when they get close enough to use the quest item on the orb while stealthed, you are auto dropped from stealth?

Seems the quest cant be done if the daily near this area is active . The symbol overlaps. Edit: going through the nearby future portal helped.

If you just did a world quest and have the wrong button on your action bar, fly out of the area and back in, it should reset.

The bronze campaign quests are close to my all-time favorites, so much humor and unexpected silliness. Here are the comments from the Timewalkers whom you rescue from their stasis bubbles:

Suma the Guised <Innkeeper> "Thank you! My body was in that bubble, but my mind was stuck in the darkest days of my past."

Historian Jum'Flitmo <Historical Texts Scholar> "Loa! I was back in time to me teaching days! Nightmarish students, dey were."

Amu'sha Skystrider <Leatherworking Supplies> "Thank you very much. Excuse me while I find my sister and apologize for something I've just done in an alternate timeline..."

Wan'she Skystrider <Blacksmithing & Engineering Supplies> "Gah! I've seen yet another future where the Bloodhoof chieftain is captured!"

Warden Krizzik <Stable Master> "WOAH! I saw my future! My great grandson marries a night elf, and to be honest, their kids had incredible ears." (She's a goblin.)

Warden Dialash <Flight Master> "Death's wing! I saw a future of unstoppable Dracthyr imbued with the light!"

Elo'sho Skystrider <Cooking Supplies> "Sweet Earthmother! I'm finally free of that dreaded timeline! It was all gold, explosives, and goblin politicians!"

During Dreamsurge, you may get a buff that stealths your character. You'll see a buff icon which cannot be clicked off, and your character will appear translucent, and sort of "sneak" walk around when moving. During this buff, you may find that the staff doesn't work, either by special action or clicking the staff item. This apparently is because it will not proc when stealthed. How to drop stealth? The old fashioned way, pull aggro. Or mount up. Either way, this should unstealth you and the action actually proc (assuming you can cast it without getting interrupted).

The icon will not appear until you are quite close to the dude you need to set free.

I think this the ONE comment that would have been the most helpful for me, I couldn't find it. I kept thinking quest was bugged. I abandoned quest, logged out, you know, i did all the myriad of things we do when things go wonky in game.

Description

I'm so glad you're here! I need you to stabilize the situation here on the platforms while Dante and Zera help me hold our infinite dragon friend in place. The temple's security measures locked Eternus in a stasis bubble when she tried to take control of our Oathstone. Unfortunately, the other Timewalkers were also caught in those security measures. Your Timewalker staff should free them, no problem. Just make sure to deal with any angry timelings that pop up!
