To get to the area with the scrying spots, head down the path from Mezzamere, and make a right at the intersection in the road at (40, 46). Once you reach the scrying spots, the extra action button will appear, allowing you to use the stone; it is not a static item in your inventory.

While in this area, be careful not to attack any of the Glimmershell Crab or Glimmershell Crawler in the vicinity, as this will aggro the nearest Glimmershell Hulk, which are otherwise neutral. And be EXTRA careful not to tread on any of the eggs strewn about, because doing so will earn you the ire of every crustacean in the immediate area! It's best to dismount here, or at least use a more narrow mount, lest you flatfoot over some mega-crab's offspring, and find yourself in a world of pain quicker than you can say "shellfish allergy"

The exact location of the three chests are:
/way 43.44 53.64
/way 46.80 55.99
/way 40.22 49.04

Make sure that you stand still for a second or two, for the Scrying Stone Button to appear for you. You will get a Prismatic Manapearl from each one.

I wandered forever at the first place described by a blue outlined circle on mini map and kept fighting crabs galore (at the 43/53 area) then went to one of the other areas and it had the appropriate yellow dot for the chest and it was obvious there , caannot figure why the spot aformentioned will not reveal a chest (no "dot") logged couple a times no help....hmmmm...
anyone discover a fix let me know The server just timed for maintenance so maybe , just maybe... we will see in an hour.

You must go to the blue outlined circles shown on your minimap and use the "Scrying" extra action button that pops up above your action bar. The icon looks like a pink runestone. Once you use that action button it will make the chest pop up in which you can loot. If you don't see the extra action button and you are inside of the blue circle, move your character closer to the center of the circle and it should pop up.

Note: Using the Scrying button is what grants you quest credit, NOT actually looting the chest.

I thought it was worth pointing out that there are many locations that these secret chests spawn in not just the three in the intro quest. I use the Scrying stone and made my way past the 3 known locations, up towards Kelpwillow, around to Nalaada, across to Prince Typhonus and then just continued to follow the border of Nazjatar around towards Zanj'ir Terrace. I found no less than 15 chests before the buff from the stones wore off. I recieved cloth, Grey items, Chum, several random greens and a Eternal Palace dining set from all the chests i looted from. Hope that helps someone :)

When you first open the treasures, you'll get some Prismatic Manapearl as well. If you're thinking about grabbing the three chests, abandoning the quest, picking it back up, and opening the chests again to get more Prismatic Manapearl, it will not work. The chests will be completely empty.

Don't mistake the cave full of azerite as the first treasure location, it's right above it ;)

Description

I have a gift for you, <name>. This stone is unlike anything you may have seen before. To the uninformed, it appears to be a simple rock, but it is far more precious than that. This is a scrying stone. It reveals objects that have been hidden by magic. When near an anomaly, the runes etched within will begin to glow. Use the stone to reveal treasure hidden away by ancient magic.
