Can't aim cannon up and down, most boats are out of reach.

I'm having trouble getting credit for destroyed boats, they seem to sink, but I don't get any progress on the quest objective.

After all this time of shared mobs and otherwise player friendly kills, this quests makes me wish I could take out the competition, which is other alliance players.

With several people doing this quest, the kills are not shared, and the boats just disappear - I assume shot by other players. In addition to that, the aiming system for the cannon is from the worst end of this kind of quests.

Hi all

I present you Full War Marches On story line. Part of Tides of Vengeance. As well you will reach Kul Tirans Don't Look at Explosions.

1. The Calm Before - First Quest for this storyline you picking up from Master Mathias Shaw He is on ship in Boralus 71 27. You need to go to see Lady Jaina Proudmoore 67 36 and give her report. After that will be conversation just wait. During a conversation City will be attack by Horde.

2. To Anglepoint - You need to go to the canal to see Lady Jaina Proudmoore 64 54 then take the boat ( this boat has Formula 1 engines, be careful not to drop overboard ).

3. Stand Fast - You need to protect Her ( She will escort people ) killing mobs around if no mobs will show up reset you quest i had buged .... Lat mob will be very nasty xD

4a. Zero Zeppelins - This quest is good to do like a first but pick all 4 - You taking it from Okri Putterwrench 42 30 - After accept He will move to frosted zeppelin speak with him one more time you will get Jury-Rigged Hand Cannon to test will be on you extra action bar. Just use it on it. After that You will need to cross "FROZEN" water to do same with 4 more zeppelines 42 27. Return quest on 41 27.
4b. Repel the Horde! - This Quest is from Lady Jaina Proudmoore 42 30. You need to kill Horde soldiers until 100% at 42 27. Lady Jaina Proudmoore Lady Jaina Proudmoore will frozen water to give you ease way xD. Return at 42 27 to Rosaline Madison.
4c. Squad Goals - This Quest is from Taelia Fordragon 42 30. You need to find 4 members of Taelia's patrol squad. Emma Swiftwind 42 27, Edward Nash 42 27, Tamara Barrie 43 27 and Carter Riptide 43 28. Return at 42 27 to Rosaline Madison.
4d. Besieged Allies - This Quest is from Lady Jaina Proudmoore 42 30. You need to go to see Rosaline Madison at 42 27.

5. Outrigger Outfitters - Is from Rosaline Madison at 42 27. You need to pick up 10 Outrigger Weapon finish quest with same NPC.

6a. Gunpowder Plots - This Quest is from Rosaline Madison 42 27. You need to pick up 6 Gunpowder Keg you can find them in barrels on west from Him. Give quest back to Rosaline Madison at 37 25.
6b. Masking For a Friend - This Quest is from Rosaline Madison 42 27. Collect 4 Blight Specialist Mask it is droping from mobs on west from NPC. Give quest back to Rosaline Madison at 37 25.
6c. Free Plumeria! - You taking it from Okri Putterwrench 42 27. You need to free gryphon from 2 chains and kill Maurizio Deaththrill is next to gryphon 40 26. Back to Okri Putterwrench 37 25.

7. Shots Fired - Quest pick up from Okri Putterwrench 37 25. use cannon to take down 10 motorboats cannon is next to NPC. after take them down Lady Jaina Proudmoore will show up, speak with her She will freeze water if not speak with Her one more time. After that quest will finish return to Lady Jaina Proudmoore.

8. Stopping the Sappers - You need to collect 40 Large Azerite Bomb 36 29 and kill Nebbik Megafuel 35 30. After you done use Arcane Teleport Beacon to get to the wall and speak with Lady Jaina Proudmoore.

9. Express Delivery - You need to mark 3 ships using Heavily Modified Harpoon Launcher 36 30. target ship and use skill 1. After that will be Video. When you will finish this Quest you will reach Kul Tirans Don't Look at Explosions.

10. War Marches On - Return to Halford Wyrmbane on the Wind's Redemption Boralus 69 27 Use Gryphon for that. After finish this Quest you will reach part of Tides of Vengeance.

You have to lead your shots slightly. Aim the cannon straight forward. Time your shot so the cannonball reaches the boat exactly when the targeting icon shows. Only closest boats are within range.

Target too close, wont fire, cant exit veichle, pretty much the most bugged quest I've come across in game. Cant progress without finishing it so frustration is setting in!

Edit; You have to actually target the boat you want to shoot down...

The targeting on this quest was so terrible it literally made me laugh. Not sure what blizzard is thinking sometimes (other than testing is optional).

I found that if you turn the cannon towards the left side (where the two big boats are, and where the little boats are all heading), you can actually hit the little boats. I made maybe 17 shots to sink all 10. Just don't try to hit the boats directly in front of you.

Staggeringly bad implementation of what should be a unremarkably samey shooting gallery sequence.

To refine the good advice slightly aim at the prow of the ship on the right for as much range as you're going to get. You'll get a few more kills by dropping those shots into the target boats with rapid fire.

Awfully bugged, as most of those 'aiming' quests often are. What I did here and worked consistently:
- aim as high as you can. If like me, your aiming should be just below the first line of boats. Due to bad design, I wasn't able to aim higher than that.
- every few seconds, there's a boat coming close to your aiming spot. Wait for the metallic ram (the big chunky grey area in front of the boat) to pass your aiming and fire.
- if timed right, a sort of yellow-ish circle (couldn't make up the shape... A sea mine? The cannonball?) will appear below the boat and will hit/sink it

Takes one or two minutes to get the 10 needed.

Description

Horde invaders keep sailing in through the seagate, but we have a nasty surprise for them! The Outriggers are good at fighting monsters of any sort, the Horde included. We'll keep them off you while you take out their boats. Send 'em to the bottom of the harbor! For Kul Tiras! For the Lord Admiral!
