If you place the offering but nothing happens, abandon the quest and try to relog or even restart the client before getting it again - worked for me.

edit: forgot to mention to actually abandon / take it again -.-

I needed to abandon the quest and start over again. Wait for Thisalee Crow to end her chat and Aviana let you finish the quest. Good luck!

For those who are wondering "wth is this offering, where can I find it?" if there's a billion people standing in the room blocking everything, there's a round dish on the floor about 3-4 feet in front of the Aviana statue, you need to click on it.

If you cant realise what to do - you have to enter to the house and run into the shrine (first floor, where the door is).
There you'll find a statue of Avianna, Thisale will call her for help.

Just tried this quest on PVP server......... this is so broken... Blizzard needs to do something about this. Took me almost half hour to finish the quest because there were at least 30 horde in the room where the offering is and they were just killing everyone. Ridiculous. Finally got enough of us organized and tired of the childish BS to kill them and move on with our day.

She is inside the tree, in front of her statue. Log out and in if you can't see her.

what a surprise that quest is bugged, needs to be cancelled, retake it agan so it works. nothing new. makes bad cancelled statistics only... pff... and for those who wants it to work properly - here is some old-blizz-aura!

Quest bugged, though not surprising. Clicked on the offering bowl but Thisalee did not go into her speech and Aviana did not appear to complete the quest. Tried logging out, but I was stuck in combat thanks to the mobs outside. Decided to just drop the quest and re-pick it back up. That did the trick. The RP event triggered and Aviana is now visible.
