This quest unlocks after completing A Change of Seasons. After finishing this three quest series, you get the quests All In and Arcan'dor, Gift of the Ancient Magi which bring you to exalted with The Nightfallen.

The first cave entrance is at 59, 43. Make sure you have 200 ancient mana with you also. After that you have to go to another cave which is at 24, 19. You will also need 200 ancient mana for this one so make sure you have it on you before heading over.

To be clear: You need to have activated all the Leyline Feeds (as described for the achievement Leyline Bling). If you have already done that achievement before getting this quest, you can simply just walk down to Arcanist Valtrois to advance the quest - you do not have to activate them again.

Be prepared when you go for these with ancient mana (carry 250 to be safe to each) and to occasionally fight.

Of all of them I found Kel'balor to have the hardest hitting mobs. When you power up the focus you will get swarmed by packs of super powered withered. Be ready. On my 845 enhancement shaman they were hitting pretty hard.

To finish Moonfall you have to exit the cave and kill the big giant Thudchop Trunksmasher that roams the path at Moon Whisper Gulch. He will be right on the path as soon as you cross the river. I ran all over the stupid cave looking for this part.

I had already done leyline bling ach when I finally got to this stage. So you just accept and complete the sucession of chain of quest to leyline master. Snotty cow Valtois is, couldn't figure out why I couldn't complete this. I forgot the last step, you need to tell her to up the power feed, duh. I had two quests and the junkie mana feed and buff dialogue, I missed the option to ask her to turn it up. Even after you do this, she's never satisfied.....

If you have already completed Leyline Bling all you will need to do is ask Valtrois to amplify the feed. You do not have to go back to each feed again.

If you don't have any ancient mana then a good place to get it is inside Suramar city. It took me 5-10 minuets to go from 0 too 800. Before I did this I was really stuck with how to get ancient mana so I thought I'd add a comment incase anyone else is struggling with ancient mana :D

If the quests aren't popping up for you feed the npcs ancient mana. They won't give the quests if they're hungry. I spent days researching the quests trying to figure out what I was missing. I tried everything and it just wasn't working. Then I fed the npc mana and it popped up. A couple quests later I was stuck again. No quests available. I fed the other npc mana and a quest popped up. This happened several times for me. Mana was the problem each time. There are 3 npcs to feed downstairs standing together. Oculeth, Thalyssra and Valtrois.

For those that are skinners and needing to gather the Ancient Mana, kill all of the animals in the Northern Suramar. You will get AM from the kill and more when you skin them.

This is a reference to the original Star Trek. Captain Kirk would frequently ask Chief Engineer Scott for more power to the engines and Scotty would reply "I cannae, Captain, I'm already giving you all she's got."

TNG's variant was for Captain Picard to ask Chief Engineer LaForge to solve a problem which required Jordy to "reconfigure the deflector array to emit an inverse tachyon pulse".

* Different leylines, different cave entrances. Pay attention or you might get lost like I did!
** You will require a total of 1200 Ancient Mana in order to complete this quest. Opportunities to gain more Ancient Mana exist with most leyline locations.
*** Make sure you activate the leylines in the order listed, or you may find cave entrances will be blocked!

The first macro is for finding cave entrances (use with TomTom addon).

Updated Macro 1: I modified the coordinates from the first macro and reordered the leylines appropriately, while still maintaining 255 characters for a traditional, non-SuperDuperMacro AddOn, macro.

Description
