Can you get 2 vessels in one mission if you get the bonus?
It doesn't list it at the start, but when it rolled at the end of one it seemed like you would get another...

Edit: It looks like this issue has been fixed

WARNING: DON'T USE THE LEGION COMPANION APP FOR THIS QUEST

Edit: Confirmed by a GM, this bug affects hunters and priests.

Completing missions related to this quest with the app does not give you credit. Furthermore, you only get just enough missions to complete it. So if you successfully complete the fourth mission with the app, and therefore get no credit towards the quest, you will not even be able to send out another mission. This means you will need to abandon the quest and restart it from the beginning.

I would not be surprised if all quests that require a given number of identical items from missions are effected by this bug. I say this because the fox mount quest is not affected and it requires four unique items.

Wow, I think the text here is one of the most awkward wordings I have seen before in a quest. Throwing in the future tense sentence right in the middle of him talking about Millificent's past tense story makes my head spin. I actually thought at first that they used the wrong tense and that Khadgar had put his essence in and then Millificent had shattered it. But it's not quite that bad. It's just really awkward.

i did not use the app, i do not have it, but my quest bugged anyway at the 4th mission.
i completed the 4th mission, log said i received the item, but did not update the quest journal. still says 3/4, with no mission available. So what do i do now, blizzard said in a response to my ticket on this matter, Sorry we are too busy to help you on this at this time, please go to wow head for any further advice on this issue, sorry for the inconvenience.
WTF too busy to fix their own fraking game issue!

I guess i will have to delete and start it again. That is the only way i can complete it or best way. hope it does not bug again.

too busy that makes me mad, too busy to fix a issue with their own game.
this is not the only issue i have had with this new Xpac. makes me want to be too busy to pay the sub and go back to playing other games. this is the worst xpac ever in terms of bugging quests and having to delete and do over, instead of just fixing the issue.
Lazy GMs as well, too busy to just override and complete it as they should have.

After completing In Defense of Dalaran a quest will show up by your artifact altar to empower your weapon with a 3rd relic. Hope this answers people's questions regarding the hunter's campaign for the 3rd relic.

Is there any reason to do this if you already have the 3rd relic slot? I guess I have it because I've already completed everything on my main (though she's a different class). I'm almost finished now, so I guess I'll keep doing it... sigh.

1st time or 2 I could get 100% no problem. By the 3rd time the best I could get is 42% using my best followers! WTH!

As of the currrent patch these missions are all just 1 and 2 hours long and you immediately can send out the next one each time. So you can have 2 missions running in parallel and at most it would take about 5 hours in total.

Description

So long as Hakkar roams free, no mage will be safe.

Millificent Manastorm created a vessel that siphons the essence of a mage, binding their magic to the object. It was created to be a weapon, but we can use it as bait.

If I channel my essence into the vessel, it will become an object of pure magic.

Upon capture, Millificent shattered the vessel, allowing it to fall into the hands of our enemies.

Find the pieces and return them to me. Together we can set a trap Hakkar won't be able to resist!
