Just stand in one of the areas and click the quest item. There is no specific location you need to find within the blue area borders.

Use your Depleted Leyflame Burner to collect an energy. If you see sparks absorbing by Depleted Leyflame Burner, you do right.

To collect Dragon's pool energy fly / go to Azurewing Repose, get in to the pool, where Senegos is.
To collect Dragon's pool energy Nar'thalas energy, you should get inside the academy, entrance is at 51 41 point.
To collect Zarkhenar energy you have to go to Ley-Ruins of Zarkhenar area, better ride a mount from Felblaze Ingress.

There are many alchemy profession quests in Legion, 32 total, check out under the spolier, if missed something. You also need to be at least 800 in Alchemy to learn the final quest reward — Recipe: Spirit Cauldron, all others can be crafted with any skill progress.

This may be obvious, but If you are having trouble finding a way to turn this in, you may be in the old Dalaran; use the Dalaran hearthstone to get to the relocated one. I had taken the Golden Lantern (Alliance) portal in Pandaria thinking it would be the same. There was no way to turn in the quest.

With a flying mount, I was unable to get credit from the rooftops in Zarkhenar. I had to fly down to one of the bridges to get close enough to the ground to collect the energy. If you don't see blue blogs of energy getting pulled out of the air, you're in the wrong place.

It should be noted, for those with Legion flying, you can get the energy on the rooftop of the Nar'thalas Academy without having to go in.

Might be obvious, but don't jump down inside the academy. If there is a way out, I have not found it yet... there is an innkeeper down here however I have only been doing alchemy quests so no reputation (should that be a requirement for this place).

(edit: found ramp. looks like pile of rocks but goes from top a bit to the left of entryway)
