You need to get the progression bar to 100%. You can do this by killing the Ogres and Drudges. Can also open chests.

Never got my Apexis crystal rewards when completing this. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue.

While the mobs themselves don't actually give rep, they do drop gorian fragments and have a small chance of dropping highmaul relics, both of which can be turned into the Steamweedle Preservation Society. Not a bad way to farm rep if hunting down rares isn't your thing.

Strategy and Mob Percentages

In addition to killing regular mobs, elites, and rare elites, you can use the blue crystal Jewel of Transformation to transform into an ogron (Might of the Ogron) and smash piles for quest completion. Red crystals can also be looted for the Blazing Crystal buff.

If you enter the area and don't get a progress bar, just keep killing guys. I had that happen to me, and after a few minutes I got the completion notice, so it was still counting them towards the goal.

I spent agonizing months waiting for one daily to complete the Securing Draenor achievement. I had no idea, you could do that manually through Scouting Missives. I am hoping this posts helps save some of you some time and agony.

Sergeant Crowler (A) and Sergeant Grimjaw (H) in your garrison sells the Scouting Missives. They are picked up as a quest items, and upon completion, turned in to Scout Valdez (A) or Shadow Hunter Ukambe (H), next to your daily mission table.

Also: you can complete a missive, even if you have already completed the daily from your garrison table for that day. I did Pillars of Fate (table) and then Iron Siegeworks (missive), back to back.

Description

[PH]Commander! You just missed a group of rangari with some disturbing news. The Shadowmoon Orcs have been spotted in the hills above Anguish Fortress. The scouts reported seeing strange rituals and beings of pure darkness. Those orcs must be up there trying to summon more minions from the Void!

If we do not intervene all we have gained in Shadowmoon Valley might be lost!
