I hesitate to guess what would have happened if you had not been there with the young Prince.

Today, you put an end to Garrosh's plans.

You have undoubtedly saved thousands of lives, and most importantly, you brought Anduin back to us.

We are doing everything we can for the boy, but we can only wait and see.

I believe he has the fight in him. I must believe it...

My King, I promise you. The Kirin-Tor will come down on Garrosh so hard his ancestors will reel. Blood will pay for blood!

I will end Garrosh for this. His Horde already crumbles beneath him. We will deliver the final blow.

I've never really gotten misty eyed before when a warcraft character died but this quest and King Varian's reaction.... ;_;

It's also the only time I've ever yelled at my own character. 'Do something you stupid night elf!' I know I'm just a hunter but damnit I could have protected him!

IF, you did not fire the flare gun and just ported/hearthed back towards Lion's Landing, you may wish to know your originating coordinates were Kun-Lai Summit 56, 32 in order to return and amend your erroneous ways. Not that I am one to auto-accept quests and fail to read them... <grin>

Question: If Anduin is training as a priest, if he dies does he get to use Spirit of Redemption? And if he does, as a plot point, will he ascend to become a Naaru?

Don't bother looking for his bag, the gun just automagically appears in your bags. If not, like me, just /reload. There is 10 minutes I'm never getting back.

As a Horde player for life and someone who rp's as a hardcore Forsaken loyalist I hope Anduin makes a full recovery. He deserves much better.

Anduin later says the pandaren mistweavers healed him. Was Velen unavailable or something?

Aunduin looks like a crumpled doll. He lays as still as a stone, and the only movement comes from the frigid air ruffling his fair, golden hair.

sit quietly for a while, until the cold settles into your bones. The bell is destroyed, but the silence is deafening.

Out of the corner of eye, you see the slightest flicker from the boy's hand. lean in close. He breathes - but just barely! Anduin is alive!

A breath escapes between lips. After what seems like days of letting the chill take your body, your lungs frozen in grief of losing Anduin...and he's alive...only just.

"D...did we...do it?"

Anduin mumbles the words, even though the effort clearly costs him.

"L...look...in...my...bag...
Use...flare..."

Fennie lands, and you tell her urgently what happened. We need to save Anduin!

"Oh no! Prince Anduin!"

help Fennie take the remains of the Divine Bell off of Anduin's crumpled, barely alive body and help him gently onto Fennie's kite. Fennie touches arm reassuringly.

"Don't worry. I'll get Anduin back to Lion's Landing Safely. We'll meet ye there."

It took a while but I finally finished this questline and this broke my heart! I even tried standing in front of Anduin before Garrosh struck. I'm a hunter and have no heals and didn't have a spirit beast :'( but I looked for a healing spell anyway.

Hey! I main Horde, so haven't done the Alliance quests much. My highest Alliance is a boosted priest, so how would I go about getting to this questline?

This is the last quest of the Pandaren campaign or the achievement "Operation: Shield Wall". By completing the quest you will receive the mount "Grand Gryphon".
If there are no quests available, you have to farm reputation.

Where is his bag with the flare to fire? I see no sparklies, mousing over him does not show any action items.

So I didn't know this, and maybe someone else doesn't either, the Shieldwall quest campaign, is no longer locked behind reputation, and after you unlock the area trough the first quest line, you can do it all in a few hours, I just did this today, and got both mounts, already exalted quite a bit before the final quest. I hope this can help somebody getting these awesome gryphons. Happy gaming :)
