Quest text is wrong, the meeting is in the keep at Lions Landing not Stormwind. Its aslo not mentioned in the quest text but you can talk to the quest giver for a teleport to Lions Landing.

Also the sunreavers are still in Dalaran if you go back to Northrend after completing this. :(

Varian reveals here that he was negotiating with Lor'themar to have the blood elves return to the Alliance (which Lor'themar hints at in the quest What's in the Box?). Jaina ruined it after purging Dalaran.

A rogue's dream. 100s of pickpocketable mobs, several of them arent even aggressive. Also you can farm the guy at the bank for 3-6g per kill.

It's about time Jaina turned Dark! And she's right, once Horde, always Horde. I have nothing good to say about the Horde ever since Theramore. After the Nuking of Theramore, ALL bets are off. It's total war to the finish now. The only thing that will end this will be the Final Death of the big !@#$%^bag, Garrosh Hellscream. Until he is irrevocably DEAD, this war will NEVER be over. If the Horde want to save themselves, they better do something about Garrosh. He is the HEART of the problems that the Horde are experiencing now.

And Jaina telling Varian Wrynn not to go soft on her? I LOVE IT! Thank you, Jaina, for finally waking up to the true nature of the Horde. Too bad it took the total destruction of Theramore to accomplish this. That's a cost that's just too high.

But then again, even after Garrosh's head goes on a pike, we still have the Forsaken to deal with. They all have to go, too. If the Alliance doesn't get rid of them, they will eventually kill every living thing. We can start with killing Sylvanus.

I am sick of Alliance players acting like the Horde are the bad guys and the Bombing of Theramore was the ultimate evil. The Horde wouldn't have had to bomb Theramore if the Alliance hadn't invaded the Barrens and massacred Camp Taurajo. An eye for an eye.

I find it odd that at no point does Jaina come out and remind Varian that in the midst of his negotiating the Sunreavers delivered the Divine Bell to Garrosh. That and her only killing those who fought back, I really don't see what Varian has to be so upset about.

I just finished this part of the story and being the instrument of Jaina's atrocity made me sick. Someone dragged the Bell back to Dalaran, so all Sunreavers are guilty? Someone betrayed her, so an entire group suffers? Some part of the sha seems to have taken root in her.

"Once Horde, always Horde" bull*!@#. She's finally let loose her bigotry; at last she thinks she has a reason to break the neutrality that's been a burr in her backside for so long. And after I'd actually started to admire Varian, he soft-pedals the whole thing. "I can't fault you for following orders." Damn right you could, and would if the writers didn't require you to be nice to me.

This entire Operation: Shieldwall storyline has been like a bad smell I can't get away from; it's the last pandaria faction I've worked on for just this reason. Anduin and (until now) Varian have been the only worthwhile Alliance I've encountered.

(The writers deserve kudos for making a storyline that can provoke this kind of emotion. It's too bad they were hamstrung when it came to Varian's reaction; I'd have preferred to loose massive rep with him after actually following Jaina's orders.)

Among things I find super frustrating is that it's extremely likely the Sentinels who transported it had a mole, and people in Dal had nothing to do with it at all.

I mean seriously, anyone and everyone could set themselves up as hearth to Dal. Absolutely any mage with enough pocket change can be taught to create a portal there - or to teleport themselves there.

That a portal was still floating in midair implies, but doesn't even prove, that the Foe was a party of more than one.

Nonetheless she decided relatively quickly that's IT the HORDE subverted ALL THOSE SUNREAVERS and also... she arrives frostbolts blazing. If Blizz ever has a retcon crew this is where they should slip in the flashback to Theramore. To show us the reason that Jaina leaps to conclusions and completely loses her shizz about this

Edit to add: I'm also surprised she isn't Sha infested at this point. Lingering doubt/fury stuff is their bling thing.

Replaying this in 2024 -- Jaina was right to do this. As a lifelong Alliance player, I was mad at this back in actual MoP days, but now replaying it in remix and paying far more attention to the story, and Jaina's behavior, and the Sunreavers' behavior, I've changed my mind.
