This sounds really bad when it goes live, 200 people farming spawn spots for weeks to get revered which will interfere with dailies as well

You can get rep by killing opposite faction's NPCs and players in Krasarang Wild's new questing areas about 24 each with guild and 8th ann buff, evening you haven't got that far to this step

Not entirely sure when this quest becomes available.

I've been to the Tavern in the Mists a couple of times, both before and after Lion's Landing is built. Wrathion isn't offering any new quests, I've finished Trials of the Black Prince but not The Strength of One's Foes because I'm not raid-interested.

I've done 4 days of dailies at Lion's Landing already and I do see rep with the Black Prince going up, and I wouldn't be surprised if I could hit revered without this quest, but I like to do all the quests I can. Is a prerequisite finishing the raid portion of those quests?

You don't need to be on this quest to get rep, unlike the quest for Honored.

With Battle Standard of Coordination & since darkmoon has new attractions, you can get this buff WHEE!. Which gives 10% Increase to rep and experience up to one hour. Really helped me get revered fast.

So, does the Valorpoint counter start from 0 or the ammount you already gained before taking this quest?

The absolute best spot to farm the reputation the most fastest way is the "Krasarang Cove" battlefield to the south of the "Lion's Landing Tower", for both Horde and Alliance.

The enemies there are in short unlimited in numbers and will respawn with only a very few minutes in between dying, making you never run out of enemies. Simply mass-pull and as many as possible while using AoE on them all and you will recieve too much reputation to even count.

I did myself obtain the last 6000 reputation in around 20 minutes, as a Blood Death Knight.

How to get 15.000 Reputation per Hour

Go to the Isle of Thunder - more specific the zone of the Zandalari Bloodguard(click name to see map)
set your Battle Standard of Coordination somewhere centrel for more Rep
Pull huge groups of mobs with lots of Zandalari Bloodguard - They make Ragezone you do 50% more damage and get 50% more per Zone (made 700k noncrit hits as a warrior tank and sometimes had to use cd's to survive)
Don't die and kill the mobs - if you cant solo them make a group the Reputation dosen't split (solo possible as tank)

Reputation per mob: 25rep | 27.5 with Mr. Popularity | 30.25 with Battle Standard of Coordination

I also managed to make 1300G/Hour there without Greater Potion of Luck and you may get more if you sell some nice looking pieces because some of the pieces that don't drop in the revamped ZG/ZA drop there.

For those of us who aren't DKs or Warriors, and are perhaps a bit squishier, this is what you do:
(If Alliance) Go to the battlefield west of Lion's Landing in Krasarang Wilds. Alliance is fighting the Horde. DoT around as many Hordies as you can, but just once per. This way you get in enough damage for the kill to be "yours" while not pulling aggro off of the Alliance fighters.
The Alliance have good dps, so the Hordies will die relatively fast after you DoT them. You get the Rep, you get the Loot. I would get about 700rep every OOM on a Shadow Priest, then would exit combat, heal/mana-up, rinse, repeat.
At 21 rep per kill, took be just over an hour to go from 400rep to 12k rep.

As for the loot, that was just icing on the cake. I looted:
414 Windwool Cloth
11 Greens
673 Domination Point Commission
~10 Lesser Charm of Good Fortune
~200g
Plenty grays worth vending, and plenty of food.

The absolute easiest way to do this (for alliance at least) is to simply wait for a day where the opposite faction are spawning from the "holes" outside Lion's Landing. When this happens just tag a lot of the horde/alliance npc's and AoE them, while the faction forces take care of the rest! :-)

Tubahtinz here the mage!

I was playing/questing on my alt which is a warlock and found something quite strange... If you just finished Incoming... and made landfall and went back to pick this quest up as well as the test of valor I found that it already considered this quest finished for me on my warlock!

I have finished the legendary back on my main the Mage Tubs and was fretting about it being just as long as a pain in the bum bum on my new alt Tengtong the Warlock...

So as you can imagine my happiness to find that I didn't have to do this part again!

Well hope this brings some joy to you other peeps when pursuing your other toons cloaks.

I found an excellent spot to farm this rep if you don't care about loot.

The battlements just south of Lion's Landing Tower, where Grunts spawn, running across. If you tag the grunts (I was an Aff lock, just ran back and forth putting on Corruption) you will not get any loot, but when the catapults/artillery/whatever kills them you will get rep.

If you go to the other faction's camp. Far west is horde camp, Far East is alliance camp. You can kill elites for amlost 1000 rep each. Need a group though.

You could also kill Zandalari Colossus for 100 Rep with the black prince and a specific boss which gives 100 Rep also or you could just hype kill Animated Warriors for 50 Rep :) I mean killing orcs for 20 or 30 something XP
