The Mallet Head is hanging right above Skiggit.

He really doesn't hit as hard as the Royal Finder guy describes outside the cave. His Light Watcher minions are continuously spawning as you kill them but they have very low HP and can be easily one-shotted with side AoE spells.

Just kill Skiggit, clear some adds around the quest item if you need and remove it from the root limb.

Make sure to check the little alcove to the left as your enter the cave. You might find a Virmen Treasure Cache with about 100g in it.

The Royal Finder (a monkey) is on a cliff along side the mountain at 23.1. 30.6. It maybe diffcult to see from directly above as it is covered by foliage.

You don't have to kill Skiggit, just loot the head, rogue with vanish or pally with blinding light can avoid the fight altogether.

Even though the hole may not look like it's open, when you get near it, it opens up automatically.

I came here with a simple question; where is the cave with the head of the mallet in it? I stared at grey walls of stone, up and down the mountain, on both sides.

I finally found the cave.

It was right beside the Royal Finder.

The Royal Finder I'd clicked 15 minutes before.

For those who are wondering... the cave is right beside him, partially hidden by foliage.

Hope no one else is as slow as me, but if you are... you're welcome.

The cave entrance is DIRECTLY BEHIND The Royal Finder. /way 23,30 (Valley of the Four Winds)

The item needed is behind the big enemy in the back.

The target is up on a ledge about halfway up the mountain. exact coords:

the entrance to the cave is right to his right under the low bushes. Look for it.

Description

Monkey King receive word on where to find the head,

The hozen who got it has long since been dead.

Kunzen chiefs pass the relic from father to son,

But then virmen Skiggit came and the head it won.

Now the wikket worships it in a hollow.

Since it was too ookin' big for him to swallow.

I sent a royal finder north to find him and stand.

Look for finder in mountains west of the Heartland.
