Anyone know if this quest is bugged?
We are several ppl standing next to the questgiver and after accepting the quest he jumps into the water and vanishes... Relogging and abadoning the quest doesn't help...

I believe this mission is bugged when the Jade Forest is down for maintenance. I confirmed this by swimming towards the zone and you'll receive a Blizzard icon debuff called, "No Man's Land" that will place a hunter's mark over your head and teleport you back to Zhu's Watch.

Well, I was able to right click on a plane and board it, it took me to Zhu's watch, but then I have no idea what to do. I don't see any quest giver to tell me to go anywhere and I went to the beach, but didn't see anything there either.

Any ideas of what to do next?

As of today it's still bugged, only now you're on the skyfire with no way to get off except to use your hearthstone.

I got this from the US forums:

The trigger for completion is misplaced. You need to fly up and around a bit above the Sky Fire to hit it. It took me a minute and I hit it when I flew off the left of the ship and back to the Admiral. If you cannot fly you can hitch a ride with someone. You will know when you hit it because a cut scene starts.

You do it on the Jade Forest side. I didn't get the coords for it, but I flew off the ship to the left when I was facing the admiral. Then I flew back. I was about 10-15 feet off the deck and hit the trigger.

Unfortunatly you need a lvl 90 character with a 2 seater to help you with this.

In the cinematic, note the little details such as the vomiting airsick gnome (I think it's Nodd Codejack) that later passes out after Mishka takes care of him.

I flew up to the ship and talked to Sky Admiral Rogers. I chose "I am ready to depart". That took me into the cinematic and when it finished, I got "Task Completed". I turned it in to her and was able to continue the quest line. Blizzard really screwed this one up, didn't they?

Rell Nightwind stands above the new fountain at the entrance to Stormwind Keep.

I may be missing something, but it looks like you have to find Admiral Rogers on The Skyfire without help.

Fly due west to the middle of the piers - x coord 24 - and look north in the sky above the mountain range. The Skyfire is up there, just off the Stormwind map but visible. Fly up there and board it. You'll be just off the Stormwind map so coords don't mean much.

East from there is Sky Admiral Rogers (so /tar sky) on top of the bow of the ship. He has a speech bubble. Talk to him and you will arrive in Pandaria (via a superb cut scene)

If you did a faction change from Horde to Alliance and can't do the intro questline to Pandaria visit Taradormi in Krasarang Wilds and she'll cast a time travel spell to send you back to when the Skyfall arrived in the Jade Forest.

Tricked-out DeLorean and 1.21 gigawatts not required.

I'm not sure how to reply, but I'm not sure why Celice's comment above was downvoted. It is the best explanation. I was flying around for nearly half an hour trying to figure out where the Sky Admiral Rogers was before I read this. Your map should show a quest bubble just north of stormwind harbor. Go there and FLY UP. You will see a ship. You should see Sky Admiral Rogers right away, if not /tar sky admiral. Right click and choose "I'm ready to board."

Hey guys, I've got an issue with Upjade Complete achievement for the Loremaster.

I can't do this quest, when I talk to the guy outside SW keep, he sends me to the Skyfire, I talk to the Admiral and the cutscene starts, when it's over I find myself in the air and fall to death (that's cause the Skyfire moved to KW).

I read some comments around and they say to talk with Taradormi in Paw'dan Village but she's not there for me.

Any suggestion?

It appears that this quest chain is not available or no longer available to boosted 90s. Quest givers are nowhere to be found and Sky Fire is no longer at locations mentioned in previous posts (or screenshots). You can't even jump in the middle of the chain either.

If you can't see the ship, you need to talk to Taradormi in Ksarang Wilds and click the option; "I want to see the Skyfire in Jade Forest. Take me back". This way you can see Skyfire in Jade Forest again and complete your quests.

Couldn't find the quest on a Fresh DH to get into Pandaria, since 7.3.5 introduced Warboards, the board said "Nothing interesting is posted right now."

So, lost and confused, I went to Stormwind Keep to take the portal from New Dalaran to Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and discovered the NPC who gave the original Hero's Call quest standing in the throne room.

So if you're a Demon Hunter trying to get to Pandaria, head to your faction's throne room.

I was having a real hard time finding this!
Some others here gave me clues that helped me.
Best clue was "look up".

So I tried due North of Stormwind Keep, no dice!

I then went back to where the portal, monk trailer and tabard vendor are.
I decided to fly to the top of the little red balloon and look around.
Directly to the EAST while standing on to of the red balloon I could see a shape in the sky! As I watched it for a few seconds I could make out the propellers.

The ship is at 41.3, 70.2 in the sky above the Northern Elwynn Mountains.
When you look at the map at this location you see the overview map of the Eastern Kingdoms.
My "you are here" arrow showed up just underneath the K.

I don't understand. I did this quest on my warrior, this was back before you had an option to do Cataclysm instead of Pandaria. Yet, this quest available to me now. I also completed all of the Jade Forest quests, but I don't have the achievement for it.

Tried doing this after dinging 50. After taking the quest The King's Command from Grand Admiral Jes-Tereth I handed in the quest to Rell Nightwind Unable to talk to Rell for a teleport after picking up The Mission and The Skyfire is not in Stormwind, so probably a phasing issue.

Fixed it by taking the portal to Jade Forest from the Stormwind Portal Room and entering The Skyfire in Jade Forest. Talked to Sky Admiral Rogers (/way 42.02 92.82) and was able to start the Pandaria quest line.

In 9.0.5 I found that I could not find any way to get to the Skyfire without flying. I was playing a level 20 alt and wanted to do MoP to level.

I found that if you go to the Mage's Tower and take the portal to the Jade Forest, you will spawn next to an NPC mage who will yell at you for not being on the Skyfire and direct you to use a portal next to him. If you use that, you will be dropped right in front of Sky Admiral Rogers upon the burning Skyfire and be able to turn in this quest and being the MoP questline.

This quest cannot be completed now (patch 9.2.5). As soon as the cutscene ends, the airship does not spawn and we fall in infinite loop downwards all the time. Its a blocker. Ergo, the achievement cannot be obtained for completing Jade Forest questline.

If you are not able to find Admiral Roger on the ship after completing Secure a flight to The Skyfire, just fly a bit east to a small camp at 48.0, 88.4, where the next quests start, he will give you the next quest "Touching Ground", you will have to go back to the ship and the gear and go back to the camp.

Description

Well, you heard the King. Admiral Taylor's last transmission came from somewhere in the southern seas.

We will begin our search from the air! Locating the Prince - the White Pawn - is of critical priority.

The Skyfire is fueled, supplied, and ready to depart. She and her crew idle in the sky just north of the harbor.

Make your last preparations, then meet Admiral Rogers on the deck. We will depart without delay.
